#4 Finally some Big News!!
My time here in Onigashima is extremely boring as a baby, it's annoying but recently things have been happening,
I had just turned 3 years old and Dad (As odd it is to say that) had taken me along to the beach in Onigashima, enjoying the sea breeze. It had been yesterday when Oden had a small confrontation with Kaido and Orochi, and it happened exactly as it did in canon. The Deal he dances naked once a week and 100 civilians are freed from working in the mines.
Really that Oden is such an Idiot, He's made everyone's life worse, he literally funded his usurper, ignored all his followers, left his country with no fill-in, turned his back on those begging for his help, then ditched the crew that took him in, all for his own ambition. Now he believes someone like Orochi to leave wano after 5 years of him humiliating himself to safe people.
I hummed softly as I watched the flow of the waves, wearing a white kimono with cherry blossom petals drawn on the garment. My escape plan was progressing moderately well. I had started learning how to sail from Queen who had joined about a month ago as he had not yet properly finished building his laboratory, interestingly enough he had yet to eat a devil fruit.
At first, I wanted to learn from Kaido or King, I really tried, but both Kaido and King could barely even read and write. Trying to learn from them was hard, the fact that both Kaido and King were Zoan Users who could fly, their navigation skills were making it so much worse, leaving my education to Queen.
Since he had nothing to do, he naturally agreed and was essentially using my baby cuteness as a woman magnet. He wasn't an expert, but as a bit of a scholar and scientist he knew the basics: he taught me the basics of how to read a map, what each part of the ship was called and what it was for, and most importantly, the Log Pose.
I of course knew from the manga, but queen repeated it so many times, that it stuck in my head that that I would have to steal a Log Pose to navigate these seas and get money to buy supplies when my provisions ran out or learn to hunt.
With the rest, I wasn't so lucky; I was still too young to learn to fight, and I couldn't ask too blatantly to avoid drawing attention. I tried to follow my father or the Headliners, but it was useless. I could never find where they trained or if they even did for that matter. With my luck, they got stronger just with the passing of the years.
Worst thing tho was, that from what I could observe, they didn't know about the 6 Styles. If I remembered correctly, the only member who knew how to do them was Who's-Who (what a name, I hope it's just his code name in Cipher Pol because otherwise, what a laugh), and he wouldn't join the crew until much later. Faced with this situation, I had no choice but to improvise and exercise with the things I remembered from my previous life.
I remember that Soru is kicking the ground 10 times in a row really fast, how it's supposed to work, no clue but it does, Kami-e makes you perfectly relax all muscles in the body giving extreme flexibility, somehow you can also freakishly move your body like a pretzel which doesnt really make sense. I don't understand Shigan at all, how do their fingers not break into mush on impact is beyond me. Rankyaku and Geppo kind of works the same way as Soru but that you kick the air really fast or really hard. Tekkai instead of relaxing the muscles you harden them, how ? I guess by like flexing really hard. Now the last problem Seimei kikan or Life Return I don't have a single idea how that would work, control your dead hair, instantly digest hundreds of Kilos of food instantly and to just suddenly grow your bones and muscles is simply beyond me.
As I was pondering about my future training methods a News Coo dropped the Newspaper that dad then grabbed out of the air.
"What's This, Gold Roger, King of the Pirates ?"
Hearing this I walked over to Dad's Leg and pulled on his Pants.
"Dad, what does it say?"
I try to hold my hands up and he leans down and picks me up on his shoulder.
"They say that Gold Roger is the King of the Pirates, they even increased his Bounty to 5,564,800,000 Berry."
"Why?"
"I haven't gotten to that part yet."
I wait while quietly sitting on his shoulder then after roughly a minute of waiting he finally speaks.
"He found the last island, laughtale."
"Dad, can I try to read it ?"
"Sure"
Kaido then walks with Yamato still on his shoulder back into his Castle on Onigashima. During this Walk back Yamato keeps reading the Newspaper over and over again.

AN: If you are confused by Oden already being back in Wano at this time, don't be. Roger split up his crew and brought back Oden to wano, after reaching laughtale. The Roger pirates wanted to help oden vs Kaido, but oden refused. The Crew completely disbanded, and Roger went to spend some time with rouge and fathered ace before giving himself over to the marines and being executed starting the great age of pirates. Oden going back, the crew disbanding and finding laughtale happened in a short time and the world government doesn't know instantly that he was on laughtale, I'm sure they learned about it later, let's say like a week or something so the news is a bit delayed making the timeline kind of logical.
