Gu Ran had dreamt of Yan Hanxiang.
The setting was a pool hall, with dozens of pool tables, each table neatly arranged with balls, but there were no other people around except for the one table where Yan Hanxiang was, lit up brightly.
She wore a shirt, black jeans, her black hair draped over her shoulders reaching down to her hips, and sported a white baseball cap.
No matter how you looked at her, she resembled a twenty-one-year-old girl who liked playing pool.
"Mrs. Xiang," Gu Ran looked around, "why pick such a deserted place?"
Dance halls, libraries, and the like, Yan Hanxiang liked crowded places where she could silently collect various scents of people in different settings.
"Grab a cue," Yan Hanxiang smiled and pointed to the rack on the wall.
Gu Ran picked up two cues.
"Do you know how to play?" Yan Hanxiang asked.
"I've played with Su Qing and the others," Gu Ran replied.
