Two bulbous, bright eyes stared intensely at Dylan.
In the middle of the snake's head, there was a raised area with four green dots flashing on it.
Already startled, Dylan broke out in a cold sweat when he saw those four green dots.
Damn it!
He had encountered a mutated python, and it was a four-star one at that.
Dylan didn't know whether he was lucky or unlucky.
He happened to need a four-star crystal core to upgrade his spatial ability to level 6, and today he unexpectedly encountered one.
It seemed that the python was just passing by and happened to run into him.
However, the unfortunate part was that with his current strength, he might not be able to defeat it.
The python itself was stronger than humans, let alone a four-star mutated version.
However, relying on his energy body with over a thousand years of energy, Dylan was confident he could escape.
But the off-road camper couldn't drive away. They couldn't turn around here, and they certainly couldn't drive backward.
Moreover, there were several women in the car, and he couldn't leave them behind.
At the moment, Dylan could only slowly retreat, increasing the distance between him and the python. He planned to retreat to the side of the camper first.
Seeing Dylan slowly backing away, the mutated python also moved its body.
Dylan's heart skipped a beat. It didn't want him to leave!
He quickly took out a revolver from his spatial storage and held it in his hand, prepared to take action if necessary.
He wanted to shout loudly to urge the women in the car to come down quickly.
But suddenly, Dylan saw the python's two eyes flash.
Immediately afterward, Dylan's body felt as if it had been struck by a nightmare, unable to move no matter how hard he tried.
Although his mind was clear, he couldn't move.
Dylan became extremely nervous. He knew he must have been affected by the mutated python's ability.
He had been staring at the python's eyes all along, and that might be why he fell victim to it.
As the python gradually approached, Dylan's heart raced.
"Bang!"
A gunshot rang out, and a bullet hit the python's body.
Georgia was the first to notice something was wrong. Getting out of the car, she saw Dylan confronting an enormous python and immediately fired her gun without hesitation.
Feeling the pain, the python writhed and retreated a few steps.
As soon as Dylan's gaze was released, he found that he could suddenly move again.
However, the enraged python suddenly opened its huge mouth, ready to attack.
Dylan quickly aimed his gun at the python, shooting while backing away, and shouted to the others, "Be careful, this is a four-star mutated creature! Don't look at its eyes. Shoot!"
However, except for Georgia, Alberta and the others had never used a gun before. They fumbled with their guns for a while before realizing they hadn't even taken off the safety.
And Dylan and Georgia's bullets couldn't stop the furious python's attack.
The python suddenly swept its tail, hitting Georgia directly.
Unable to dodge, she was sent flying three or four meters, crashing into a snowdrift by the roadside.
Dylan had run out of bullets, and with Georgia's firepower lost, the mutated python attacked even more recklessly.
Dylan quickly grabbed the gun from Alberta's hand. "You go check on Georgia!"
He fired at the python again, temporarily forcing it back a few steps.
"Dorothy, give me the gun!"
"Once the python attacks again, release your lightning at it!"
"Okay!"Dylan held the gun in both hands and fired a round at the python.
However, the python, tough-skinned and resilient, was not affected by the bullets at all.
It launched another attack, this time directly aimed at Dylan.
Just as the snake's tail swept towards him, Dorothy seized the opportunity and struck lightning directly at the snake's tail.
A plume of black smoke rose as the snake recoiled in pain, weakening its force, which Dylan managed to deflect with his hand.
Despite Dylan's sturdy constitution, the impact left his arms numb, almost causing him to lose his grip on the gun.
Seeing this, Dorothy unleashed two more bolts of lightning at the snake, further enraging it.
Suddenly, the snake whipped its head, sending Dorothy flying.
The gatekeeper, Garrett, rushed to check on Dorothy's condition.
Now, only Dylan and Jodie remained in front.
Dylan took Jodie's gun and said, "Back off.
Your bodies can't withstand its attacks!"
He then unleashed a barrage of shots at the snake, which dodged left and right until Dylan ran out of bullets.
The snake seemed to have taken multiple hits, staining the snow with its blood, yet it still remained unharmed fatally.
As Dylan ceased shooting, the snake reared up and lunged towards him.
Dylan swiftly drew his magic sky sword and swung at it. "
Sizzle."
The blade grazed the snake's scales, leaving a deep mark but failing to cut through.
Unimpeded, the snake's body crashed into Dylan.
A strong smell assailed Dylan's nostrils as the snake pinned him down.
Thankfully, his robust physique prevented him from being crushed to death, though he struggled to catch his breath.
Before Dylan could react, the snake began to coil around him, exerting immense pressure that made his face flush red with strain.
He felt his bones creaking under the strain, fearing they might snap at any moment.
If not for his extraordinary resilience, he would have been reduced to a pulp by now.
Despite Dylan's resistance, the snake realized that strangling him wouldn't kill him.
So, it opened its mouth wide, aiming to swallow him whole.
With Dylan immobilized and facing imminent danger, a sudden sound of flute music echoed through the air.
The snake, about to devour Dylan, froze in place, turning its attention towards the direction of the flute.
Jodie, holding the flute in both hands, played it attentively, and the snake, seemingly affected by the sound, loosened its grip around Dylan.
Seizing the opportunity, Dylan drew his magic sky sword and plunged it into one of the snake's eyes.
A yellow liquid spurted out as the snake convulsed violently, throwing Dylan aside with force.
Dylan's body slammed into the nearby terrain, leaving him dizzy and disoriented.
Struggling to sit up, he noticed the snake writhing on the ground, evidently severely injured.
It seemed that the eyes were the mutant snake's weak point.
Seeing Dylan free from the snake's grasp, Jodie stopped playing and hurried over to him.
Meanwhile, with Garrett's assistance, Alberta had already brought Dorothy and Georgia together.
Both seemed to be seriously injured.
With Jodie's support, Dylan stood up.
He picked up his magic sky sword from the ground, preparing to finish off the snake while it was incapacitated.
"Phew!"
