However, this journey was quite troublesome.
The road was littered with debris and damaged cars.
The doors on both sides of the road had long been smashed, looted bare.
Occasionally, they encountered groups of zombies on the road.
However, Dylan and his companions didn't bother to clean them up.
He simply chose to step on the gas pedal, pushing aside the obstructing vehicles, clearing the way for Georgia and the others behind him towards their destination!
Royal No.1, before the disaster, was one of the top entertainment venues in Bluewater Bay City, offering a one-stop service including bars, discotheques, dining, KTV, bathing, foot massage, and more.
The scale of the building was quite impressive, and from afar, Dylan could see the golden sign on the rooftop.
After driving a short distance further, Dylan parked the car by the roadside opposite the entrance of Royal No.1.
Looking across the street, Dylan noticed that the gate of Royal No.1 was open.
To be precise, it seemed to have been smashed open, as the glass door was already shattered.
However, what was inside remained unknown.
"Georgia, find a suitable place to park. We're going in to take a look."
Dylan called Georgia over the walkie-talkie.
"Roger! Stay safe!"
Upon receiving Georgia's reply, Dylan parked the car on one side of the entrance of Royal No.1.
This position neither blocked Georgia's line of sight nor hindered their quick evacuation if there were any special circumstances inside.
Dylan got out of the car first and then walked into the lobby.
It was in a mess, with bloodstains on the ground and several bodies scattered around.
It looked like it had been through a big fight.
Seeing this scene, Alberta couldn't help but feel worried.
Had zombies already taken over here? What if something happened to her brother?
She anxiously looked at Dylan, who at that moment instructed Hannibal, "Hannibal, see these bloodstains? You're fast. Go along them and check the situation inside. Once you find out, come back immediately and report!"
"Got it!"
Upon hearing Dylan's command, Hannibal straightened his clothes, grabbed his knife, and began to run along the bloodstains towards the inside.
Meanwhile, Dylan, accompanied by Alberta and Dorothy, cautiously followed behind.
Gradually, Dylan realized he was somewhat familiar with this place.
It's just that, after so long, his memories had faded.
As they walked, not long after, Hannibal came running back.
"Boss, there's a situation!"
Hannibal said, slightly out of breath.
"What did you find?"
Before Dylan could speak, Alberta asked eagerly.
"There's a passage ahead, seems to lead to the bathing area. The lights are still on inside. There are many bodies, and the fighting seems to be ongoing! I didn't dare to go in, so I hurried back!"
Hannibal quickly reported the situation.
Dylan and Alberta glanced at each other. "Let's go. We'll go see what's happening. If your brother is inside, we'll intervene and get him out!"Alberta nodded quickly and followed Dylan as they hurried inside.
Upon reaching the corridor, the scene before them was indeed gruesome enough.
The not-so-wide passage was filled with corpses, either with brains splattered or with guts torn open, their entrails scattered all over.
Inside, the sounds of fighting and screams continued unabated.
Dylan and his group didn't pause; they quickly stepped over these corpses, dealing with a few zombies crawling on the bodies with broken legs along the way.
Passing through the corridor and reaching the door at the end, it was noticeably brighter inside than outside.
Inside, the scene was even more horrifying.
The dressing area just inside the door was strewn with body parts, and cabinets were toppled over.
Further in was the main hall where the baths were located, and here too, the floor was littered with corpses.
It seemed like the earlier battle had been exceptionally fierce.
And from upstairs, shouts of fighting continued to echo.
Dylan and his companions didn't dare delay; they quickly made their way to the second floor.
On the second floor was the foot massage area, not as gruesome as the first floor, but Dylan noticed there were more dead women here.
Moreover, there were a few women who had just turned into zombies right in front of them.
It seemed they had just died.
Hannibal and Dorothy quickly dealt with them.
After confirming there were no zombies or survivors, they followed the sounds and reached the third floor.
The third floor was a long corridor with small compartments on both sides.
The sounds of fighting came from the end of the corridor.
Along the way, there were corpses of women everywhere, some of them not even fully dead yet.
Ignoring them, Dylan and the others quickly reached the end of the corridor and found themselves in a hall.
In the center of the hall, several men were fighting two slightly larger zombies.
And in a corner not far behind them stood a woman in red, watching the fight warily.
Behind her stood a group of women, cowering and trembling.
Dylan moved Clarence away from them and turned to the people in the center of the hall.
Upon closer inspection, it wasn't all humans; there were six survivors fighting the two zombies.
These two zombies were noticeably larger in size, with red skin, and their movements were more agile than ordinary zombies.
What surprised Alberta and Dorothy was that one of the zombies actually had an ability.
They saw it raise its hand and cut one of the men in half with one stroke.
Upon seeing this scene, Dylan blurted out, "Zombie King!"
Others didn't understand, but Dylan did.
The so-called Zombie King is a survivor who has awakened an ability and died with over a hundred years of time energy.
The higher the level of ability and the more time energy, the higher the rank of the Zombie King and the stronger their power.
Some higher-ranking Zombie Kings can even retain a trace of their consciousness.
They can run, making them particularly difficult to deal with.
So, when facing enemies, Dylan always aims for decapitation or headshots, never giving them a chance to become a Zombie King.
When two people with similar combat abilities fight and one dies and becomes a Zombie King, it becomes troublesome for the survivor.
As for distinguishing the rank of a Zombie King, it depends on their size and skin color.
First rank is red, second is orange, third is yellow, fourth is green, fifth is blue, sixth is cyan, seventh is purple.
And the two in front of them were clearly first rank Zombie Kings.
"Dylan, my brother!"
