Getting Into the Flow

Work went by quite smoothly, everyone doing what they needed to and getting their jobs done with relative ease, though I could tell that our new family members were rather tired and unaccustomed to their bodies still, which was to be expected.

All of them pushed through that discomfort and did their tasks as best they could, and when the sun was beginning to go down I went around and took a look at what they had done, nodding and finding that they were able to do what I wanted them to do quite well.

Not perfect, but nothing in this world ever was actually perfect, so I was more than content with what I saw and enjoying the fact that everything finished up much earlier than it had when it was just Crima and I.

That was really nice, and with that new time I got to begin working on the other projects that I had, which would mean more work going forwards for this small group of Demi Humans - and for me - but it was work that would yield significant results.

The most important thing that I started on was getting the rest of the Ranch completely cleaned up and ready for the future; it was already rather clean, but the boulders that we had pushed to the side and grasses that grew around the edges of the Ranch needed to be dealt with.

On top of that, I marked the edges of my land and began to plot out what I needed to get done going forwards, which was filling out the remaining fields and looking at how to build a channel that connected to the waterfall nearby...

When I was able to use the land the waterfall was on, anyways; technically I could just claim that the channel formed naturally, but that was rather unlikely to be accepted and there was a chance I faced a fine for that, so... sadly I just needed to wait.

At the end of this week, when the Airship visited and recorded my progress, contributions and more, I would be given a goal to reach that would earn me the ability to 'unlock' more land to use, and when that happened I could purchase some more seeds and start growing a variety of things.

And then I could get access to the Request Board for specific people who wanted specific crops, and were willing to pay a premium to obtain them; usually a restaurant or a large, well off family would be the ones to place those requests, and that was where us Rancher's made our extra pocket money for personal purchases.

Most of us were content with just our Ranch and having the things we needed for the Ranch, but sometimes we wanted a good dress or some premium ingredient that we couldn't grow ourselves, or to have a night out on the town to do whatever we wanted to finally relax.

That was where we got the funds for those things usually, since most of what the Ranch makes goes back into the Ranch so that we can make more money to invest into more things, creating a cycle that will push us up the Rankings and earn us more bonuses and contracts from the government.

Until that Airship arrived though, I had to get the Ranch into a better state so that I might earn a bonus for having an incredible first week as a Rancher, and maybe get myself a nice paycheck for the next time that the Airship arrived.

I wanted rice, I wanted some herbs and I wanted to plant some trees off to the side for some fruits; that would all need money, and to get that money I needed a large amount of things to sell to the government.

When we got back into the manor, Clara and I began to clean up the upstairs and take note of the things that needed to be patched, all while the others remained outside and worked on breaking those apart to check for any ore that we might sell off for extra coin.

Of course, being inside with just Clara after a long days work was rather... distracting, since the Cowkin's clothes - which were already rather tight - were now slightly dampened with sweat and clinging to her curves, which again...

Were quite the sight to behold even beneath her dress, but now that she had been sweating and was having her gigantic breasts and juicy ass hugged tight by her clothing, they were even more arousing than before.

The familiar stirrings of lust made me groan as I opened one of the windows, letting in a breeze and using the chill to calm myself down enough that I wasn't thinking with my lower head, but still... as I turned back around and saw Clara scrubbing the floor with a wet cloth, I couldn't help but groan again as her breasts swayed freely.

"Clara, was today easy for you? Was the work simple? Enjoyable?"

She looked at me and blinked, those big round eyes of hers filling with warmth and excitement as she said "Surprisingly yes, Mother~! Those gardens were fun to plant, and I can't wait to see how they grow in the future! But um..."

Sitting on her haunches, the Cowkin tapped her fingers together and gave me a shy look, unknowingly radiating such incredible sex appeal that I felt something stir down below yet again as she stared at me like that.

Her thick thighs and jiggling breasts as she sat there were so tantalizing, but I took a deep breath and listened to her as she asked "Could I um... Could I plant my own flowers eventually, Mother? Out front, just for decoration? I know you said you wanted them to be herb gardens, but..!"

She looked at me expectantly, and when I nodded my head in agreement she grinned and shot up, only to trip on her dress and almost fall flat on her face yet again; but just like before I caught her and hugged her close, saving her from the fall.

"You are quite clumsy, Clara... the second time today that you've tripped!"

I giggled at her klutziness, making her blush as she just leaned further into my embrace and surrounded me in her softness and her calming scent.
