Now, we see a male with the same qualities as hers but we like them because some of us automatically relate males with violence and accept most of their red flags. If you don't like the female lead, know she is written that way. You are not supposed to like her. But if you do anyway, good for you.

The Angels Of The Night

Alex thought her whole world crashed down on her. At first, it was just her sister who did something bad. However, now, it was Theo.

According to the Base, it was a traitorous move to leave the Base or the academy without notice. Theo did exactly that. He was weakened after a test. Rezef said the test was all about testing how fast a candidate can overcome their fears and that every warrior angel had to face all their fears. After that test, he was given a chamber in the Base to rest, since the next day, he had to do the test again. However, when two angels went to ask him if he wanted food (some angels did not eat as they did not need to, but most angels did since food was one of the best delicacies), they found the chamber empty.

"Where were the other angels?" Alex asked the moment she found out about the incident from her aunt. "Weren't more angels supposed to be at the Base? How could he evade all their eyes?"
