Elena knew that what she and Eléon did was not entirely normal. Yes, it did happen among angels, but that did not mean it was not frowned upon either. In fact, a lot of angels hated incest.

Elena did not want children, even if it was common for angels to have children to continue the bloodline. She did not want children thinking she was not suited to be a mother. Still, she ended up having a child because that was what angels were supposed to do. Casta had not married or had any children yet. So, it was up to Eléon and Elena to continue the Raothiel bloodline. Her parents pressed them on this matter.

Eléon was not too fond of having too many children either. He said they would have one and then be done with it. Elena was glad for it.
