Daniella woke up with much relief as she looked outside the window seeing cloud becoming dark 'By now my siblings will be back from school' she thought to her self. She was still looking outside the window when someone entered her room "Hi"she heard from behind the voice she once feared but no more will she fear him again the n she turned and said "You can't even knock" David looked at her and smiled "You've grown nerves to talk to me like that" "Lemme see if I have " she paused putting her hands on her chin in way it was like she was thinking "No I have not am not just afraid of you again" she answered confidently David smiled "Ok I said let me come and see my sister who just returned from a trip" David said arrogantly. She has really changed even from far you will know she is malnourished , and now her behavior has changed the Daniella before will be trembling as she talking to David , David still in a state of shock from the manner and the way she talk to him . "Thanks a lot for destroying my life thanks a lot for damaging my personality " Daniella poured out in anger if only she could strangle David now she would of done it. She knew what this rehabilitation case has done to her people around won't she her the same way as before , especially her parents who were highly disappointed in her if only there knew what happened. "That's why I came to say sorry but looks like you will not be needing my sorry so I'll " "Daniella" David called out interrupting Daniel as he entered her room he was thinking that David wants to continue from where he stopped so he wanted to help by barging into her room
"I'll will be leaving " Daniel said leaving the room.
"What did he tell you ?" David asked looking concerned about her.
"Nothing much tho , he just came to welcome me " Daniella said faking a smile . David looked at her and smiled also he knows she was lying just to cover Daniel and he is still suspicious that it was not Daniella who took those drugs , he feels that Daniel has a hand in it , because even after Daniella's departure He still saw some drugs in Daniel's room . He tried showing his parents but they said maybe is one of Daniella's leftovers.
"Olivia" Olivia dard someone screaming her name and she knew it was her aunt Mrs. Mary Adekunle , As she tucked her hair inside her head warmer revealing her bright dark eyes , her fair face , well shaped face with her nose that perfectly fit her face , no wonder she was the second most beautiful in her class at school . Olivia was an orphan she lost her parents in a car crash and due to some other circumstances she could not inherit her parent's wealth because her parents were very wealthy , she was then forced to live with her aunt who turned out to be harsh on her , her phone , laptop and other stuff were seized by her aunt she is only waiting till she turn eighteen before she can become independent and that's in the next two years .
"Olivia" her aunty shouted again this time even higher . "Am coming" she said running towards the kitchen , she knows what her aunty is capable of if she calls her the third time , and is was not ready to receive any beating this night
"Where were you when I called you" Her aunt asked "I was on my way coming" Olivia answered bending her head.
"Better for you , because you need to cook stew for tomorrow , the ingredients are inside the cupboard" Her aunt said as she was leaving the kitchen "If you like let it burn , you know what I will do " Mrs May said as she left the kitchen for her room , it was already usual for Olivia to be up at night due to the work her aunty used to assign her and she eventually uses it to read but most of the time she sleeps off and getting the food burnt . "Hey" Alexander said from behind . "What again Alex go and sleep I don't want your mother's problem" Olivia said as she started cutting the tomatoes. Alexander is one of Mrs Mary's children , He is actually the only one that keeps Olivia company and treats her nice . He looks more like his father with his brown eyes that he got from his mother he is dark , Has an average height , and he talks a lot to only he is fond of like Olivia. "Don't worry mom is asleep already" He said closing the kitchen door "so I came so that you will teach me , your tricks Like how do you pass your exams , test and all that" Alexander said expecting ab answer that is not reading "there is no trick there I just read" Olivia said putting the already sliced tomatoes into a bowel "You and I know that you have no time to read due to house chores " Alexander said trying to prove her wrong "that's the point you see I read at night when I do the cooking the time I will use to wait for the food to get ready I will just use it as an opportunity to read " Olivia said facing Alexander with a smile on her face . "Oh so you do read " Alexander said then he paused "I never knew " Alexander said in disbelief . "Who do you have a crush on in our class" Olivia said folding her arms on her breast as she smiled "it's obvious that it is Christabel " Alexander said smiling sheepishly "Wow I thought it will be Anna , you know like your to close to her and all that " Olivia said while concentrating on what she was cooking"No I cannot like Anna she's just a friend " "Alex what are you doing here?" Mrs Mary shouted as she opened the kitchen door.
