Chapter 2. New Life In Damn World

In the opulent grandeur of a luxurious king-size bed, a boy lay motionless, his chest rising and falling with each gentle breath. The soft, velvety darkness of the room enveloped him, punctuated only by the faint, golden glow of a solitary, ornate lamp.
Suddenly, the boy's eyes snapped open, and he sat up with a jolt, his face contorted in a mixture of fear and disorientation. His gaze darted wildly around the room, as if searching for an escape from the eerie, unsettling atmosphere that had beset him.
As he struggled to calm his racing heart, his eyes began to take in the lavish surroundings. The room was a testament to unbridled opulence, with walls adorned with intricate, gold-leaf patterns, and furniture that seemed to have been crafted by the finest artisans of the land. The air was thick with the scent of expensive perfumes and the soft, plush carpet felt like silk beneath his feet.
But as he attempted to stand up from the bed, a jarring realization hit him like a ton of bricks. His hands, legs, and entire body had undergone a transformation, shrinking to a size he couldn't remember being since childhood. His face reflected his utter bewilderment, his eyes wide with shock and confusion.
The next instant, a searing headache pierced his brain, and memories of a 15-year-old boy flooded his mind. The pain was so intense that he felt his legs buckle, and he collapsed onto the bed, his vision blurring into darkness.
When he came to, he was greeted by an unfamiliar ceiling, and his mind was reeling with the implications of his situation. He sat up, his eyes scanning the room with a mixture of trepidation and curiosity.

Riyan's POV...
It was as if he had traversed into a different realm, one that was eerily familiar. He had stumbled into the world of "Saint's Odyssey", a fantasy-harem novel he had been reading just yesterday.
The story revolved around the world of Hunters, Gates, and Dungeons, where the protagonist, Alex Karots, an orphan, ventured to Qara City to attend the prestigious Reyas Academy, the world's best institution for Hunters.
As Riyan delved deeper into the memories flooding his mind, he recalled the novel's plot, where Alex encountered a bevy of beautiful, talented, and inspiring female Hunters, who would eventually become his allies and love interests. But Riyan's thoughts were consumed by a burning sense of resentment towards the novel's author, who had seen fit to bestow upon the villain of the story, Riyan Descartes, a miserable and humiliating demise.
The mere thought of it was enough to make Riyan's blood boil. He had been portrayed as a dog-licking, arrogant, and stupid character, who would ultimately meet a tragic end. The injustice of it all still rankled him, and he couldn't help but curse the author's name.
"I've crossed into this damn novel of that son of a bitch author!!!!!!"
Just then, a melodic chime echoed in his mind, accompanied by a message that made his eyes light up with excitement.

With a steely determination, Riyan vowed to crush Alex, the protagonist, and claim the main heroines for himself. He would plunder Alex's opportunities, snatch his luck, and shatter his plot armor.
The system, sensing his resolve, offered him a newbie package, complete with rewards and benefits.
