Ch 13 Update

20XX 7

Alright. I'm back in Uuran.

Besides from mapping Springfield, the mountains, and the plains, I've also mapped out a bit of a road.

Yes, a road.

Surprised?

I sure was.

In Uuran, we only have one road entering, going through, and exiting. But Springfield has a lot more roads going through it. After I figured that out, I started mapping a bit up the roads near Springfield.

Now, here's when a lot of people say, Lena, why didn't you just follow the road going out of Uuran? That should've lead you somewhere.

Yeah, yeah I get it. Now shut your mouths for a second.

Like I said before, some humans who've been turned to stone turned into Hybrids. And what are roads used for? Human transportation. You get where I'm going?

The reason why I didn't follow the roads for a long time is because there are bound to be a lot of Hybrids on them. And they might be angry, as most of them would've been trapped in a vehicle for some time before they broke out.

So yeah, that's why I didn't follow the roads.

Besides, even if there weren't a lot of Hybrids of the roads, I don't think I have enough bullets to clear an entire road.

Before you talk about how I cleared Uuran, that's different.

I had quick access to bullets. I wasn't going to run out any time soon considering how many weapon and pawn shops there are in Uuran. Also, most houses have a shotgun and tons of bullets for hunting. That's how I managed to clear Uuran.

But if I try to clear out several kilometers of land, with nothing but road, I'm going to run out of bullets while fighting. And then I'll have to run back several kilometers back to Uuran with several Hybrids chasing me. Then, Uuran's going to be overrun by Hybrids again after I put so much effort into clearing it.

Yeah. I'm never going to travel on those roads anytime soon.

Speaking of traveling, tomorrow, I'm going to start packing supplies for my trip back to Springfield; this time, with several loaded guns and a few packs ammunition.

Well, that's all for today.

Hasta manana!
