Preparing for Battle

Five people set out from the Kunlun Mountains, heading towards the capital. More than half a century had passed, and human society had undergone dizzying changes. Strange architectural structures appeared everywhere, and peculiar tools could be found in abundance.

However, this place was not the capital, it was merely the first densely populated area on the way to the capital. The five of them stopped and observed their surroundings. Jun Wu Xiao remarked:

"Wow, it seems we are truly outdated now. From the architecture to the transportation and even the daily items people use, everything is so unfamiliar to me."

The other four nodded in agreement. Yue Guang said:

"It's true, ever since humanity unified, they have developed much faster than before. After all, they no longer waste resources and manpower on meaningless wars, so it's understandable that civilization has advanced more quickly."
