The Uses of Ginseng

Not long after, Jun Wu Xiao returned, holding a bag in his hand which he handed to the old man. He said:

"Here are the items you wanted: nine from monsters six meters tall, and one from a monster nine meters tall."

The old man glanced at them and quickly confirmed their authenticity because they matched the recorded descriptions. Moreover, knowing Jun Wu Xiao's identity, these were undoubtedly genuine.

He took a box containing a ginseng root out from his belongings and said:

"Thank you, this is yours."

"Thank you." Jun Wu Xiao nodded and replied.

Having obtained what he needed, the old man said:

"I won't disturb you any longer, I shall take my leave now."

With that, the old man left, taking his people with him. The two remaining individuals also left shortly after.
