Before she met Jian Shichu, Ye Qingci had always been a jinx. After meeting Jian Shichu, the heavens seriously told her there was no such thing as most jinxed, only more jinxed!

Feeling somewhat uneasy under such pure and transparent scrutiny, Jian Shichu coughed and said, "This is for the kids. From now on, I will cover all the expenses for this orphanage. Whatever they lack, you help them buy it. You can fill in the amount as you like."


"Thank you, but there's no need," Ye Qingci smiled, "This orphanage has always been looked after by my elder brother. Though the Ye family might not have the wealth and grandeur of Seventh Master Jian, supporting an orphanage is still well within our means."
