"Grandpa, Grandma, Grandpa, Grandma, what's going on? What happened at home?" Situ Xin put her bag on the table and sat down next to her grandmothers.
"Baby, don't overthink it. There's nothing wrong with the house; it's just that we're not in a good mood today." Old Madam Loo sighed as she spoke.
"Grandma, then why are you in a bad mood?" When Situ Xin heard about the bad mood, she became even more puzzled. Those old folks didn't usually have much to worry about; if there was something to worry about, it would be the issue of her brothers getting married. But recently, Old Master Situ and the Loos had talked about letting go.
"Ah, it's Old Ma from the courtyard who has passed away. After hearing about it, we felt very sad," Old Master Loo replied, sighing.
"It's really unexpected. Old Ma left us so soon. Back in the day, we fought together on the battlefield against the enemies," Old Master Situ reminisced, his mood growing even more somber.
