Lady Zhang hurriedly invited Lady Chiang to sit down.
Lady Chiang sat down and first checked on Niuniu, seeing that Niuniu was sleeping soundly. She heaved a sigh of relief and felt grateful to Lian Zhizhi and Lian Manman.
"Zhizhi, Manman, I'll remember today's kindness. I may not be very skilled, but if you ever want embroidery or needlework done, just ask me. As long as you don't mind my crude stitching, I'll make whatever you want," she said.
"Eldest sister-in-law, look at you talking like an outsider," Lian Zhizhi and Lian Manman replied with a laugh.
Lady Chiang pulled out her handkerchief to wipe away the tears that had gathered in her eyes.
"Fourth Auntie, I'm just feeling so wronged..."
Because the topic was awkward, Lady Zhang wouldn't have brought it up unless Lady Chiang did first; now that Lady Chiang had opened the subject, Lady Zhang proceeded to ask her a few questions, following Lady Chiang's lead.
