1005 Let's Sleep Separately (Part 3)

That night, Chi Xiaoyu slept in Xiao Guai's room.

In the evening, after reading picture books to Xiao Guai and singing lullabies to lull her to sleep, she herself was exhausted.

The next morning, half-awake and half-dreaming, she reached out to touch the side of the bed. Her hand reached out—and it was empty.

She was startled awake instantly.

Opening her eyes, she realized Xiao Guai was no longer on the bed.

A cold sweat drenched her body, and she nearly tumbled off the bed in panic.

Upon closer inspection, she saw Xiao Guai sitting on the floor, holding a paintbrush, intently drawing something.

Only then did she let out a sigh of relief and stretched lazily.

Quietly, she got out of bed and sat down beside Xiao Guai, watching her draw.

The drawing had a dark tone.

There was a little girl trapped in a small room, with a shadowy, monstrous figure resembling a dark cloud spreading its claws, trying to grab her.

Seeing this, Chi Xiaoyu was suddenly reminded of many things.
