The code name “Shikari” was the only thing that Arun learned from his Status window, about his past. Why he didnt have his memories, when everyone in the Tower of Yggdrasil had theirs, he didnt know. 

But three things were clear to him from the start. First, he was an anomaly in the Tower of Yggdrasil, and his existence would be erased if the truth came out. Second, unlike others in the Tower, he knew exactly where he was going and was helped by someone outside of the tower. Third, Shikari, meaning The Hunter is a pseudonym that was best suited to him. Because he felt that he had a taste of blood before even setting foot in the Tower. 

In a world that should breed fear and concern, an environment that makes his fellow players falter, Arun instead finds himself thriving.

Perhaps, he was born for this kind of world.

From the way Arun saw it, getting into the village undetected was nearly impossible. He knew that he could not just waltz his way in, he would need some sort of cover. As far as these guys were concerned, they could get in. But at the same time, he could also blow his cover, so he needed to include these guys in his plan.

As they already knew about the Familias, he spun a tale in front of them that he belonged to a Familia of Athena. And if he cannot waltz in the encampment of the enemy Familia. So he needed their help in order to get him in, with them, without arousing any suspicion. As they guys trusted him and believed in his story easily, the rest was fairly easy.
