Let's go on dates

I sighed heavily, feeling a mix of disbelief and concern swirling within me. "Lise, this is not how you act with someone you love," I began, my voice tinged with a note of admonishment. "You should have apologized for scaring her."

Lise's expression softened, a flicker of guilt crossing her features. "I know, Lydia. I messed up," she admitted, her voice laced with regret. "I should have handled it better."

I nodded, acknowledging her admission. "Did you see her again after that?" I asked, curiosity tugging at my thoughts.

Lise hesitated for a moment before responding. "Yes," she admitted quietly. "I... I enrolled myself in the Clovice University just to be close to her."

My eyebrows shot up in surprise. "Wait, you enrolled in university just to see her?" I asked incredulously.

Lise nodded sheepishly, avoiding my gaze. "I know it sounds crazy, but I couldn't stop thinking about her," she confessed, her voice barely above a whisper.
