Chapter 5: The sinister Homecoming

As Varsha stepped out with Aaryan, a subtle tremor of fear gripped her. Her voice, tinged with an anxious quiver, conveyed her unease as she uttered, "Let me call Aditya; he'll also join us." The words hung in the air, a plea disguised as a simple suggestion, as if the presence of Aditya could provide a reassuring shield against the shadows of the unsettling truth that loomed around them.

Aaryan's gaze bore into Varsha, his words carrying an unsettling weight. "Na, Na, Na, No need. We alone are off. We don't need an outsider in our family secrets," he declared, a sinister smile playing on his lips.

The semblance of innocence in his expression belied the darkness concealed within, sending a shiver down Varsha's spine. The air thickened with an unspoken menace, as if the very shadows around them harbored the chilling secrets he alluded to.

they both come outside of the village, , suddenly Varsha stops.

"if it's going outside of the village, I won't come; I'll call Aditya."

Aaryan holds Varsha s hand " you won't come even If it's about our beloved mother?" smiles in an evil way.

Varsha gets shocked: "our mother? you saw mom, where is she?"

Aaryan starts walking "that's the surprise, follow me if you want to, or go take protection from your lovely boyfriend"

with no other choice Varsha starts flowing Aaryan, walks for about an hour in the dense forest.

Aaryan, while walking, looks at Varsha. "long trees, mid-day, and sunny morning, it's a good whether to die peacefully, right sister."

Varsha said with a bold voice, "where's my mother??"

Aaryan just gestures for her to walk silently. In a distance, Varsha can see a women tied up, She starts running towards her. The closer she comes, , she can see her mother's face. Her hands are tied, , her mouth is tied with a rope, Varsha stops running as she sees Neha holding a knife comes standing beside her mother ,

Aaryan goes and stands beside Neha. "we wanted to kill her in front of you, move a little and your mother dies!!"

Varsha stops moving and lifts her hands in the air. "please don't do anything to her, I beg you"

Aaryan takes the knife from Neha 's hand and cuts Ananya's ear, Aaryan asks with an evil smile "how's that feeling, ha, ha, does it hurt??"

Varsha screams, "please !!! don't hurt her, I beg you."

Aaryan 's hand goes near Ananya's neck to cut her throat. As he's about to kill her , an axe comes from behind and cuts through Aaryan's right hand. As blood splashes, the hand goes flying along with the knife,

in a distance " take this" an jawline comes and lands in front of Varsha,

As Varsha's tears mingled with the rain, her heart ached with the weight of her decision. With each drop, a silent plea for mercy echoed within her. Yet, there was no time for hesitation, her mother's life hung in the balance. As she pierced the blade into Aaryan's throat, a symphony of anguish and desperation filled the air. In that moment of brutal sacrifice, Varsha surrendered a piece of her soul, forever haunted by the agony of her choice.

In the chaos of desperation and betrayal, Neha's rage blinded her to the humanity within her. With relentless determination, she aimed the knife towards Ananya, oblivious to the presence of another soul. As the man intervened, sacrificing himself to shield Ananya, Neha's frenzy knew no bounds. Each stab, a cruel symphony of violence, until Varsha, driven by a primal instinct to protect, wielded the axe with an unfaltering resolve. With a swift stroke, she severed Neha's hand, ending the onslaught and restoring a fragile semblance of sanity amidst the brutality of the moment.

Neha's screams echoed through the tumult, her voice laced with venom as she lunged forward with the knife. "You bitch! What have you done?!" she shrieked, her eyes wild with fury.

Varsha's heart raced as she turned, her gaze falling upon Gabiamaru's lifeless form. "Gabiamaru!" she gasped, horror and grief intertwining in her voice.

Ignoring Varsha's cry, Neha's hand, slick with blood, tightened around the knife. "You won't get away with this!" she snarled, eyes fixed on Ananya, whose face contorted in terror.

With a primal roar, Varsha lunged forward, wielding the axe with lethal intent. "Enough!" she roared, her strike cutting through Neha's outstretched hand with brutal force.

With tears streaming down her face, Varsha's agony fueled her resolve as she seized the sharp rock from the ground. In a desperate bid to end the onslaught, she drove it into Neha's eye with a primal scream. As Neha howled in anguish, Varsha's grip tightened, relentless in her determination.

Again and again, Varsha brought the rock down upon Neha's eye, heedless of the blood and screams. The cacophony of pain and fury reached a crescendo as Neha, overcome by torment, relinquished the knife, clutching her bleeding eye.

"What have you done, you bitch! I'm gonna kill you!" Neha's screams reverberated through the chaos, a chilling testament to the brutality of their struggle. But in that moment of relentless violence, Varsha's grip remained unyielding, a stark reminder of the primal instinct for survival.

Varsha's desperation drove her to desperate measures as she clutched Neha from behind, her embrace a paradox of warmth and anguish. "Neha, please stop at once, pleaseeee!" she pleaded, tears mingling with the rain.

But Neha's madness knew no bounds. With a savage snarl, she twisted in Varsha's grasp, the knife gleaming ominously in her hand. "Dieeee, you bitchhh!!" she screamed, each word punctuated by a stab into Varsha's shoulders.

Varsha gritted her teeth against the searing pain, her cries drowned out by the relentless onslaught. In that moment of brutality, amidst the torrential rain and the echoes of agony, the line between victim and aggressor blurred into a haunting symphony of suffering.

Neha plugs her eye ball out her socket, blood is flowing through her eye less eye socket, she is standing as she looks vigorously at varsha, "you are dead." This was the last word that came out of Neha's mouth. Suddenly, Varsha takes the jawline and holds against Neha as she was running towards her, the jawline goes through her stomach , pierces her intestine, goes through piercing her back bone and comes out the other side, Neha leans towards varsha as she coughs blood all over Varsha. For a second, when Varsha lifts her head, she could see a smile on all over varsha , for a second , when varsha lifts her head see could see a smile on Neha's face as she died.

Varsha quickly turns towards her mother and removes all the ropes that as tied to her, as soon as the ropes removed , Varsha hugs her mother, 'Ananya' , but Ananya just pushes her away and slaps her, and falls in front of Aaryan and Neha's dead bodies.

" what have you done, what have you done!!!!"

Varsha understood her mother's emotion " mom, I know you feel sad , but this is not what you think, their age is more than 40 , they used some black magic to make them look younger, I read it, I read the whole story of this village in this book, don't worry , they were never your children."

Ananya's revelation hung heavy in the air, shattering the illusion Varsha had clung to for so long. "There's no black magic to make you look young," Ananya declared, her voice steady despite the tumult of emotions.

Varsha's world spun as she struggled to comprehend. "How do you know, Mom?" she stammered, her shock palpable.

Ananya's gaze bore into Varsha's, unwavering. "Because we tried it. It never worked. We aged as we grew," she explained, her words laden with a weight of truth.

The book slipped from Varsha's trembling hands as Ananya reached for it. "This is Aaryan and Ananya!!" she exclaimed, her voice cracking with emotion. "Aaryan was my brother."

Varsha's breath caught in her throat as the pieces of the puzzle fell into place. "But why...?" she began, her voice trailing off in disbelief.

Ananya's tears fell freely as she continued, her voice thick with sorrow. "He thought sending me alone to the city was the right choice. When I came to the city, I grew up in an orphanage and met your father. Even though I had you, when I saw two orphans named Aaryan and Neha, it reminded me of my brother and me. That's why I adopted them."

Silence enveloped them, broken only by the sound of Ananya's sobs, as Varsha grappled with the enormity of the truth revealed.

Varsha kneels down " what have I done, what have I done, I killed my siblings with my own bloody hands ,haa, so , mother's brother stayed on this island and he is the one who manipulated Neha and Aaryan to revoke against their own mother, who it may be, Am I in contact with them,

I think getting help from Aditya will be the right choice; he's just 22, even he won't know who's living with them for past 36 years , is that creep watching us right now, what do I do, I need to see Aditya right now"

"Varshaaaa" a voice from distance , turns out it was Aditya running towards her ,

Varsha quickly gets up and starts running towards Aditya and hugs him tightly "thank god you came , Aditya , I don't know what to do without you, please help me"

Aditya gently holds Varsha's face " Varsha , calm down, I've come right, I won't let anything happen to you"

Varsha feels that warmth from Aditya as she hugs him "Aditya, I know who killed your father now, it's Aaryan my mother's long lost brother who is an bloodmist blood line and can control mind , we have to identify him and kill him before he does, you may be his next target, please, I can't even imagine something happening to you "

From the start:

As Aditya held Varsha close, his words brought a fleeting sense of comfort amidst the chaos. "I don't think anyone can touch me while you are standing beside me," he murmured, his arms encircling her protectively.

Varsha turned to her mother, her voice trembling with gratitude and relief. "Mom, this is Aditya. He's the one who saved me," she explained, a glimmer of hope flickering in her eyes.

Ananya, tears still glistening on her cheeks, rose to her feet and wiped them away with resolve. Extending her hand to Aditya, she offered a handshake, her eyes searching his face. "What is your full name again?" she inquired, a hint of curiosity in her voice.

Aditya's response seemed to hang in the air, the tension palpable as Ananya released his hand and locked eyes with him. "When I was leaving for the city, I asked my brother what he would do once I'm gone," she recounted, her voice quivering with emotion. "He said he'll start a new family on this island. When I asked him what his child's name would be, he said, 'It will be our father's name.'"

Varsha's breath caught in her throat as Ananya's words reverberated through the air, the weight of impending revelation bearing down upon her. "What was your father's name?" she asked, her voice strained with anticipation.

Ananya's reply hung heavy in the air, the silence that followed pregnant with uncertainty. "Aditya Varma," she confessed, her voice barely above a whisper.

Varsha's hands trembled uncontrollably, the ground beneath her feet seeming to shift beneath the weight of the truth revealed. Her gaze bore into Aditya's, searching for reassurance, for denial, for anything to dispel the impending storm.

"Aditya, what she's telling is not true, right?" Varsha implored, her voice cracking with desperation. "Tell me it's not true. She has to be lying, right Aditya?"

But as Aditya turned towards her with a solemn expression, Varsha's heart sank. "I... I think there's no point in hiding anymore," he confessed, his words piercing through the fragile veneer of her denial.

A sense of dread washed over Varsha as Aditya's laughter filled the air, a chilling reminder of the depths of deception and betrayal lurking beneath the surface.

"I really commanded those two idiots to kill your mother as soon as they get her , but my powers are really weak when it comes to normal people you know, just like your dad tried to save you when you were falling from the ceiling and he tried his best to not stab you, I liked that one in him"

Varsha's whole life got ups and down , her hands were literally shaking and she has no words to talk and in an saddened filled voice she screamed

" why did you made me to kill my family?????"

Aditya starts walking towards Varsha,

" Everything was for our future ,my little princess, scarifies needs to be done for a greater good"

suddenly Ananya holds Aditya and makes him fall on the ground, and sees at her daughter

"Varsha run, as we are off same bloodline he cannot use his powers on us, go save yourself, go go go"

Varsha steps back , as her mind is completely fogged to even do something, she starts to run away ,

Aditya looks at her "Varsha wait, hear what I have to say, if you don't stop. I'll kill you mom right now"

Varsha stops , Aditya smiles " that's like a good girl, now come to me"

ananaya screems " Varsha just go away, don't come here , please , don't make your dad's death go to vain"

Varsha nodes her head saying no "mom, I've already lost dad, and my siblings I don't wanna lose you too"

As Varsha approached Aditya, her steps heavy with dread and disbelief, Ananya's selfless act of sacrifice stunned her into silence. With tears streaming down her face, Ananya placed her neck in front of the knife Aditya held, extinguishing the flicker of hope that remained. In her final moments, she gestured for Varsha to run, a silent plea for her daughter's safety.

Heart pounding with terror, Varsha obeyed her mother's desperate gesture and fled into the darkness, the echoes of Ananya's sacrifice ringing in her ears. But the sound of Aditya's rage pursued her, a relentless specter haunting her every step.

As Varsha glanced back in horror, she witnessed a scene of unspeakable brutality unfold. Aditya, consumed by fury, held the knife tightly, raining merciless blows upon Ananya's face. Each stab was a cruel testament to the depths of his depravity, a sickening display of violence that seared itself into Varsha's memory.

With tears blurring her vision and anguish tearing at her soul, Varsha ran faster, the echoes of her mother's screams echoing in her ears. But even as she fled, she knew that the scars of that day would never truly fade, forever etched into the fabric of her being.

after stabbing for 70 times , there was nothing on Ananya's face , everything was smashed to pieces, Aditya's whole face is red filled with her blood,

he then stands up "where do you think, you will run my little princess"

and starts heading in the direction where Varsha ran,

Varsha runs with her full speed and heads to the mist village ,

As Varsha burst into the village square, her voice raw with panic and desperation, the villagers stirred from their homes, drawn by the urgency of her cry. Gasps and murmurs spread through the crowd as they beheld the fear etched upon her face.

Rushing to her side, some villagers offered water while others crowded around, their expressions a mixture of concern and confusion. Varsha's breath came in ragged gasps as she struggled to find the words to convey the horror unfolding before them.

"Aditya is the one who killed the village elder," she finally managed to choke out, her voice trembling with terror. "He's coming to kill me. Please, you have to save me."

A hushed silence fell over the gathering as the gravity of Varsha's words sank in. Fear and determination mingled in the eyes of the villagers as they realized the imminent threat lurking in their midst. Without hesitation, they sprang into action, rallying together to protect her from the darkness descending upon their peaceful village.

As Aditya's ominous figure loomed before the village gate, Varsha's grip tightened on the hand of the nearest villager, her eyes wide with terror as she pleaded for help.

"Please, help me," she implored, her voice quivering with fear. "He's the killer, he's—"

But before she could finish her desperate plea, Aditya interrupted with a simple snap of his fingers. A shiver ran through the villagers as they froze in place, their movements stilled by an unseen force.

"Yes, sire," they murmured in unison, their voices devoid of emotion as they succumbed to Aditya's command. It was as if a dark spell had fallen over the village, binding them to his will with a chilling obedience.

Varsha watched in horror as the villagers turned towards her, their eyes vacant and empty. In that moment, she realized the true extent of Aditya's power, and the depths of darkness that threatened to consume them all. With no one left to turn to, she braced herself for the inevitable confrontation, knowing that the fight for survival had only just begun.

Aditya's voice cut through the silence like a blade, dark and commanding. "All of you, die," he commanded, his words dripping with malice and cruelty.

one kills himself by stabbing his head, one takes the glass in his hand and starts to hit himself until he dies, one dips inside the water to die , one swallows the metal scraps , as it goes inside his body it pierces through his stomach making him bleed, one rips through his skin and gouges out his own heart , one holds his upper mouth and lower mouth and pulls as hard that rips his mouth in to half.

Aditya looking at Varsha " you killed them Varsha, because of you they are dying"

Aditya starts walking slowly towards varsha , with a creepy smile on his face,

"You Wanted to know this Island's name right, you known what it is called, it's "THE SINISTER LAND" as he says the island's name he lifts his hands in air , with the blood dripping on the land.

Varsha comes running and holds Aditya's legs

"kill me if you want to, but don't make these innocent villagers kill themselves, pleaseeee!!"

Aditya holds Varsha's curls and brings her near him " poor , choice of words, heyyy all of you kill each other"

the remaining every villagers starts to kill each other in the worst way possible, they starts eating each other, and ripping each other' s body and smashing each other until one dies and will go to kill some other.

Aditya then looks at Varsha "enough of the gore show , let us head somewhere peace"

As Varsha struggled against her restraints, her heart pounding with fear and desperation, Aditya's grip tightened on her face, silencing her with a stern command. "Shut up, for a sec," he ordered, his voice laced with menace.

With a trembling breath, Varsha acquiesced, her protests stifled by the suffocating grip of terror. She watched in silent horror as Aditya leaned in, his lips meeting hers in a forceful kiss that sent shockwaves of revulsion coursing through her veins.

Unable to break free from his grasp, Varsha felt her stomach churn with disgust as his lips pressed against hers with a sickening intensity. Every fiber of her being screamed for escape, for release from the suffocating grip of her captor.

Finally, Aditya released her, sinking to the ground before her with a chilling nonchalance. Varsha's skin crawled with revulsion as she sat, bound and helpless, upon the wooden tree, her eyes burning with a fierce defiance even as her spirit trembled beneath the weight of his dominance.

" Varsha , I need to tell you a story, ahh, my story to be precise , long back , when your mother left this land , my father was all alone , he wanted to start a family , so he lied and entered to the mist village and saw a girl there and he loved her , they both fell in love and he married her, they had a wonderful life , my mother gave birth to me , I grew up, all was fine , until one day, when I was 6 , I got lost in the forest as I parted away from my mother, I saw an old abandoned house, when I entered the house , I can hear some sound , when I went inside I saw a granny, she was too old to even wake up, she asked me who I am , as I told her my name she got to know that I'm her great grandson , as no one dares to keep her son's name as theirs , then I got to know that my grand pa was an mind controlling artist, she asked me if I know something, my father never taught me anything, I said no, granny started teaching me the black magic and suddenly one day she passed away, so I learned all the mantras by myself and started controlling the villagers , as I tried controlling the village people I got to know that they were already in control of my father's magic, he instantly got to know when I tried controlling people, he came to me and started beating me, saying 'I have already lost too much, that s why I never taught you this' having a question mark I asked him "why can't I learn"

his answer changed me that day. 'I always taught I loved you and your mother loved me, but after sometime I got to know that , even if I didn't wanted to..i was always unconsciously controlling her mind to obey my orders ..it's literally a doll, I can't even say its true love, that's why I wanted it to end with me , my son I want you to find your true love, not some one sided slavery love'

after he stopped me from using the mind control, one night as my father was sleeping, he felt something crushing him with their hands, as he wakes up.. it was his beloved wife who was pressing his neck and making him not breathe, he had a smile on his face as he died thinking his wife broke out his mind control and was killing him, little did he knew that I controlled that doll to kill him , and then I started visiting the abyss village and started killing anyone who had babies, to make them believe that it's the curse that hunting them, they totally stopped have offsprings thinking the curse will kill them , and then in the village alone....

Well, I was waiting for a real human interaction,I was waiting to fall in love with a real person..i wanted to be loved out of love, not by controlling. Then one day, when I saw you,. In the quiet of our conversations, amidst the digital expanse, you became more than just a screen, more than just words exchanged. You were a spark of connection in a world of pixels, igniting feelings I never thought I'd find. In the depths of virtuality, I sought refuge in the warmth of your presence, yearning for a love that transcends the boundaries of cyberspace, longing to build a life where our souls intertwine, where every heartbeat echoes the melody of our shared affection., even when you said you'll stay with me that day, your dad was really taking us near coastal side and he was going to save you from this island abandoning his wife, , that's why I made you kill him, I should be the only one whom you love,

With each repetition of you saying "my siblings," an inferno ignited, consuming rationality, leaving behind only the primal urge to silence their existence. In the depths of my psyche, a twisted dance unfolded, a macabre symphony of thoughts plotting their demise, a sinister yearning to erase their very presence from the tapestry of life., but I didn't wanted to hurt your feelings so I made them look bad in your eyes, so you won't feel anything when they are dead , but your mother spoiled everything, I should have killed her and made it look like your siblings did it; it was my only mistake, and it costs me everything, but still, I love you more than anything, Varsha."

by this all the time Aditya was explaining his past ,

Varsha managed to have a small knife in her hand where she keeps it in her back, her ropes are almost loose, Aditya starts to move towards Varsha,

she takes out the knife and stabs through his chest where his heart is located , Aditya coughs blood through his mouth ,

Varsha tries to run away, Aditya holds her hand and pushes her to the ground, ,and sits on top of her

" even if you stab me in the heart, I still can't make myself to harm you, Varsha I really love you. Just stay with me.,i will always lov-"

Varsha then kicks him as harder as she can , then pulls the knife from his chest and again stabs through the chest and stabs , stabs , stabs until she feel like leaving him.

Aditya smiles as she is angrily stabbing him in the heart, as at least he is dying in a real way and not by some random doll.

Varsha stands up as she stabbed him for literally half an hour; it was like her all-love for him converted into a vast pool of hatred. She leaves the knife from her hand and blood is flowing through her hands, She gives a glance as she walks , as she sees Aditya's corpse,

In a fleeting moment, Varsha stands frozen, her heart clenching in unbearable agony as she beholds Aditya, her beloved, lying still before her. A deafening silence envelops her, punctuated only by the echo of her anguished cries. Tears stream down her cheeks, each one a testament to the profound love they shared.

With a trembling breath, she screams

" ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh" and collapses on the ground, consumed by the overwhelming grief of a love cut short.

"Varsha, Varsha, Varshaaa!!!!, get up dad's calling you," the voice pierced through the fog of sleep, pulling her back to consciousness. Blinking against the bright sunlight, it was Aaryan.

She was on the yacht, sailing in the middle of the sea .

She puts her hands on her head with relief. "was it all a fucking nightmare?"

As she sees her family back alive, she keeps her hand on her mouth and a gentle smile on her face. she reliefs herself , runs and hugs Neha.

Neha with a gentle smile "what boss, got so much love today"

Varsha kisses Neha on her forehead and turns around and suddenly Ananya, her mother, appeared beside her, her voice laced with concern.

"Varsha, why do you fall asleep in the mid-day? That's a bad habit.

Anyways, your boyfriend's waiting for you to wake up. Go talk to him."

Varsha's heart skipped a beat at the mention of a boyfriend.

"My boyfriend, What are saying ?" she exclaimed; her voice tinged with disbelief.

Ananya chuckled, her laughter dancing in the air like sunlight on water.

"Did you even forget your boyfriend?" she teased, before calling out to someone behind Varsha.

"Aditya, Varsha's saying she has forgotten you!"

The name echoed in Varsha's ears like a distant memory, a faint whisper of something she couldn't quite grasp.

"Aditya!!!!!"

Varsha's voice trembled as she turned to face him, as she was turning to see , she notices Neha's right leg was made of prosthetic,

As Varsha's gaze met his as she turned, a wave of confusion and fear crashed over her, threatening to pull her under. Something was wrong. Something was terribly wrong. As the sun bathed the deck in a golden glow, Varsha strained to see his face clearly. But try as she might, his features remained shrouded in shadow, elusive and indistinct. And then, in a sudden rush of clarity, it hit her like a bolt of lightning.

This wasn't real. None of it was real.

It was Aditya in flesh , looks at her and slowly his lips starts to expand with a smile he says

"Hi Varsha."

Love is the most beautiful of dreams and the worst of nightmares.
