"Did I just gain a skill point and three stat points too? I didn't even know I could allocate my stats."
Checking his stat points, he was greatly astonished at how much his system interface had changed.

After checking his stats, he was simply amazed by the interface. He noticed something blinking in the system. When he focused on it, he realized it was his message inbox, and inside it were several notifications.
System Notice: Tutorial has been completed. Stat points can now be distributed at level 6.
System Notice: Due to your ability, Perception and Intelligence have merged into a new stat called Insight.
Gain more skill points to gather more skills or to level up your current skills. At level 20, your class can be picked.
Notice: Dexterity has been changed to Agility.
Seeing all this, Ray stared at his system with wide eyes. So it seemed he could allocate stat points, and he was shocked that his ability also gave him passive effects as well.
"I might be one of the only players in this game that has Insight as a stat. I wonder if I will gain other effects if I continue to level up." The final change he noticed was his Dexterity stat changing to Agility, but it didn't bother him that much. After all, it felt pretty stupid to put Dexterity for his speed.
Looking around, it seemed that the others hadn't reached level 6 yet. He knew what he needed to do with his stat points. He allocated two points to Strength and one to Agility. Immediately, he started feeling lighter, and his muscles felt like they were bulging with energy.
"Wow, is this the effect of just adding a few points to some of my stats? I feel like an entirely new person right now." Looking at his stats, he started to feel a bit more satisfied.

He had done enough for today since he was able to level up twice. Not to mention he had school, but it seemed his new friends were still grinding; they were probably at level three or four right now.
"I'm about to log off now," he announced.
"Bye then, see you around," Sarah and her friends waved him goodbye as he left the game.
When he logged off, he was surrounded by darkness for a bit until he took off his VR headset. He wanted to make something quick to eat, but for some reason, he felt highly energetic, as if instead of playing the game, he had slept the whole night.
"Maybe it's just because I'm too excited," thought Ray, not pondering long on the situation.
He checked the time on his phone and realized it was almost time for school. Just at that moment, someone came knocking on his door.
"Hey bro, it's almost time for school. Don't tell me you overslept." When the door was opened, she was greeted by Ray still in his PJs.
"Come on, what are you doing? Do you want to be late?"
"Sorry, I kind of overslept."
"No problem, just hurry up before we're late."
He quickly got ready, brushed, and bathed while his sister quickly prepared breakfast for him. When he was finally done, he didn't even eat there; he just grabbed the sandwich and locked the door, heading to school with Lily by his side.
The walk to school wasn't that eventful; it was just like usual with the twins chatting among themselves. Just like the other day, Alex was at the front of the school gate waiting for them.
"Hey guys, what's up?" asked Alex with a tired look on his face.
It seemed like he wasn't the only one who prepared late for school, thought Ray.
"What's up, Alex," replied Ray, and his sister did the same by greeting him.
They walked into school just in time before classes started and quickly went to their seats. The first teacher of the day, a Math teacher, seemed elderly with a round face, gray hair, and a matching beard.
The man quickly started explaining the class for the day, but it seemed Ray's mind traveled somewhere else as he thought about the game. He was so out of it that the teacher saw him and called him out.
"Hey you, why are you not paying attention in class?"
"Sorry sir, I don't know what happened."
"Sorry won't cut it."
"I am truly sorry."
"If you think you know everything and don't need to listen in class, why don't you explain the laws of algebra to the whole class?"
"Okay sir, the laws of algebra simply state..." He was cut off by the teacher.
"You can stop there. Just try and listen to the class, okay?"
"Okay, sir."
As the man walked back to the board, sweat was visible on his face, and he looked slightly panicked.
"Thank God, I almost forgot that kid is a straight-A student. If I didn't stop him in time, I could have been embarrassed and become the laughing stock of the entire class."
The man walked to the front of his class and continued his lecture.
"The laws of algebra simply state..." He explained until he was done with the lecture.
After their first set of classes, they walked to the cafeteria and ate their fill, especially Ray, who had no money and didn't want to waste anything. When they came back, classes continued the same way until they were finally done with school. Walking back home with Lily, he chatted for a while with her until they reached home.
When he got home, he quickly made himself a sandwich and did his homework. The way he was eating sandwiches was alarming, and he would soon need to start eating better food unless he wanted his health to deteriorate.
He took a bath and went to sleep so he could have some rest and play the game with a lot of energy.
