Eileen enters into her apartment. Even though it is a two room apartment, the place feels massive. Alfred does live with Eileen, but, on the occasions where he is not in the apartment, Eileen feels indifferent whenever she enters the place. Compared to Mr. Miller’s place, somewhere that there’s memories, love and nostalgia, Eileen's, feels like she’s in limbo. This place just reminds her that she has made no progress and is casted away. Eileen did make one improvement. She has Alfred to brighten up the place by being by her side. He moved into her place when he found out that she was living alone a year ago. The topic was mentioned during one of their dates. Eileen can’t help but think that she did have a “Mr. Miller” place. However, Eileen believes that she burned that bridge to go back, but she is perturbed is she really wants to go back to where everything was the same.
