Livia had finally reached the third day of her return to the timeline of her life. The traitor remains unseen by her, and time eludes her to meet him as well. The woman is aware that George requires her, rather than the other way around. She stated that her boyfriend has yet to try the new Livia. The day’s work has come to an end, and she finds herself seated on the toilet in the company’s restroom, attending to her personal needs.
Before, she was tired. However, now it appears that her job is as effortless as can be. Livia had just completed her task and was preparing to cleanse her hands when the sound of voices reached her ears, indicating the arrival of others.
“F*ck! How am I supposed to do that report? I am unsure of my abilities to do so!” A smirk graced Livia’s face upon hearing their voices. Even in the privacy of the comfort room, she remains the subject of shameless individuals. Instead of yelling at them, she chose to listen to their conversation first.
“Because I couldn’t write a straightforward business letter, my boss also reprimanded me.” Jennylyn’s voice could be heard.
Frustration filled the air, and Livia couldn’t help but sense that these individuals were pointing their fingers at her.
“My superior also scolded me and told me to resign if I couldn’t do my job well,” Michelle expressed her vexing concern.
After a brief period of silence, a voice suddenly erupted, expressing both frustration and anger. “And it was all Livia’s fault! My supervisor has assigned me twice the amount of work! I believe she is instructing our superiors to increase the difficulty of our work. She seeks revenge upon us!” Livia bit her lip was bitten as she shook her head. Letty can be quite difficult at times.
If they were diligent and fulfilled their duties, their superiors wouldn’t burden them with difficult tasks. However, it seems they are choosing to shift the blame onto her for their own mistakes.
“I concur with your viewpoint, Let! After extending our friendship to her, she has now chosen to turn her back on us.” Jennylyn’s voice carries a hint of rage.
“She was not our friend from the very beginning. She is being utilized for our own personal benefits. Isn’t that right?” Michelle, in that moment, uttered.
Livia gently shook her head, maintaining her composure and allowing the shameless individuals to freely express their frustration.
“She most certainly is not! It seems that there are many others who share our anger towards that woman. Many of our colleagues were quietly expressing their frustration towards her.” Jennylyn chimed in, mentioning that she had heard a few of them.
Livia caught a glimpse of their faces while eavesdropping through the tiny crack in the door. At the conclusion of the comfort room she occupied, there was a cubicle.
“How should we proceed? I’m sure she’s planning ways to make us suffer even more.” Joylyn exclaimed as she kicked the floor.
Livia shook her head once again. “Crazy b*tches! Wait all of you, I am just stirring some spices to add to the menu!” She softly uttered the words, barely audible to anyone but herself.
“Did you talk to George? Can he assist us in determining if Livia is deeply infatuated with him?” Michelle asked Letty.
Livia remains calm as she listens, occasionally feeling the urge to interject with her thoughts on their conversation.
“I am unable to catch a glimpse of him at the office; it appears as though that man is intentionally evading my presence. The plan is for him to fall in love with Livia. Money is often used by Livia to entice fools. He’s probably chasing Livia right now. It appears that he is concerned that the source of his money will vanish,” Letty replied cynically.
“The hell? I thought you and him were serious.” Joylyn asked.
Livia expressed her disbelief with a scoff. With the newfound knowledge that the shameless pair have been together since the start, she has no desire to let George gain any more power over her.
“Yes, we are! I am uncertain about that individual, my dear. He must find a way to soothe Livia’s emotions; otherwise, our presence in this company may be jeopardized,” Letty exclaimed with intense frustration, eliciting an exasperated reaction from Livia.
She feigned flushing the bowl, and as she did so, she nearly burst into laughter at the comical expression on Letty’s face. Their complexion was pallid, and their eyes grew wider.
“Sh*t!” In perfect harmony, they exclaimed while nearly soaring out of the restroom. Unbeknownst to them, there was an unexpected occupant in the comfort room who inadvertently let slip their thoughts.
Once they were outside, Livia couldn’t help but burst into laughter. If she happens to be outside the comfort room, she might find herself unable to contain her laughter upon witnessing something amusing involving those individuals.
After ten more minutes had passed, she came out of the comfort room, eager to find solace and unwind after a fit of laughter. She already fixed herself and went out.
Livia glanced around, noticing how all the employees turned their attention towards her. The woman is confident that someone will let those individuals know who the person inside the restroom is once they have departed.
With a subtle lift of her eyebrows, she prepared to make her way towards the elevator. However, just as she was about to take her first step, a voice she recognized all too well called out her name.
“Livia! Babe!” Stunned, she glanced at the owner of the voice. Livia clenched her jaw. She notices a man waving in her direction. Gradually, the memories of what he had done to her resurfaced in her thoughts.
Refusing to lower her head, she maintained a proud posture and shook her head in dissent. Instead of reciprocating his wave and engaging in conversation with the gentleman.
Retreating a few steps, she promptly boards the elevator without casting a glance at its occupants.
“Sh*t! If you don’t close promptly, I’ll have to confront that fool!” Livia whispered, speaking to no one but herself. Unbeknownst to her, the individual sharing the elevator with her overheard her murmuring.
“Livia!” She could hear George’s voice, shouting her name with frustration. Determined to avoid any confrontation, she swiftly pressed the button to close the elevator doors.
Livia’s frustration was so intense that she nearly kicked the elevator door. She was not fond of encountering George today, as she entertained thoughts of delivering a forceful blow to his face and delivering a swift kick to his sensitive area.
She experiences anger and fear due to her concern about potentially experiencing another heart attack. Before proceeding, she felt it necessary to first assess the condition of her heart in order to safeguard her overall well-being.
“Why are you not closing?” Livia scolds the elevator door, treating it as if it were a living being.
If she had not heard a scoff behind her back, it is likely that she would not have stopped what she was doing. Livia’s eyes narrowed as she fixed her gaze on the person.
“Do not laugh! I’m simply in a rush!” She scolded the person.
The man stood there, crossing his arms and rolling his eyes. His face was devoid of any emotions, and he sported a pair of eyeglasses. With his eyeglasses perched on his nose, he exudes an undeniable allure.
Livia believes that the man is likely in his late thirties. The man expressed his annoyance by rolling his eyes. Livia couldn’t help but gulp as she noticed the man’s broad shoulders, a clear sign of his dedication to the gym. Standing at six feet tall, even in his suit, she could easily make out his well-defined six-pack abs on his abdomen. The man possesses an undeniable handsomeness that leaves her speechless, save for one observation.
‘He is handsome but also a mean one!’ She whispered to herself. Just as she was about to speak to the man, the elevator door swiftly closed, leaving George nowhere near reaching it. The man’s eyebrow arched, as if he were stating the obvious to her.
“See, you looked stupid while kicking the door,” the man said, mocking her.
Livia’s eyes narrowed as she fixed her gaze on the man. ‘The nerve!’ Her mind echoed with a resounding yell. With fierce determination, she tightly closed her hand, yearning to unleash her anger upon the man.
However, she exercised patience, biding her time until the elevator finally descended to the first floor. The woman promptly departed, yet not without expressing her thoughts to the man before striding away.
“Stupid your face! You are such an ass! You needed to insult me just because I did something like that. I was preparing myself for a dreadful life that a man might have planned for me! You should show me compassion instead of criticizing me; that’s how humanity works, and if you don’t, you’re the idiot here!”
