Chapter 20

The day had taken a dark form like always, and the stars were glimmering the same in the cold sky. He had returned to his apartment, and like his usual self, was working on his painting.

Picking up the paintbrush was the first action he performed right after he reached home, which was not the same alike the rest of his actions.

Painting was his nightly routine. He found the dark time suitable for his mind and his hands to be more stable than the day.

But it wasn't like that, that night.

The stability in his hands and of his mind had altered into a fatigue.

Yes, the passionate sexual activity had taken a lot of his strength, but what tired him the most was the thought that kept running through his mind.

What did she mean when she said, 'Aren't we both so good for the first time?'

No matter how he was trying, he could just not pull it out of his head. He understood it was a simple statement, yet it weighed so much, taking his peculiar condition under consideration.

One more thing that was surprisingly peculiar about him: was his need to solve the mysteries and find the answers to the questions.

He was known to solve every mystery and problem in his life, leaving the one with an apple, which only made him work hard to solve any other problem or mystery.

But no matter how hard he thought, he could not drive out the answer to that question of his mind.

It took a toll on him and made him unable to work properly and the question turned into a frustration.

That night, he could not work. He had to fall to his bed and try sleeping that night, as she had also taken his sleep away.

Then the morning came, picking him up from the bed with a tired body. His body had not received enough sleep.

With that tired body, he went to college, continuing to think about what she meant even when he was walking in the middle of the corridor with a crowd of students walking by him and towards him.

He was so dazed by the thought that the crowd did not affect him, even if it was jolting against him. That was yet crazy enough. He crossed that line when he did not even notice her walking towards him, with her ever the same features and boldness.

She was overjoyed by what had taken place the day before. Their relationship was blooming, just as she wanted. He was slowly letting his guard down, which was the perfect condition for her to bag him.

And after such a splendid day spent together, she expected him to be more elated than her. But her expectations crumbled down when she found his weary eyes.

He was inattentive like that and had not noticed her. He always noticed her, even when she was hidden behind the crowd of students.

So, what changed?

"What are you thinking so deeply?" With a gentle tone covering her concern and curled eyebrows, she questioned, which yanked him out of his head.

He was almost stunned at the sight, thinking where did she appear from?

"Is something wrong?" A forged smirk appeared on her face while he tried to leash back his serenity.

"No- no!" He beamed a soft smile at her and noticed her dark eyes peering through his soul. What did that look mean?

Why was she looking at him like that? Did she notice his anxiety?

Trying to cover his anxiety, he figured out the best way out, but before he could make any excuse, he felt himself being pulled into the classroom by his wrist.

"T-Triya." He stuttered as the rush of astonishment crossed through his veins. She was once again doing something he could never imagine in his wildest dreams.

"What are you doing?" He questioned as he regarded her close the door of an empty classroom. What was she going to do?

"Triya?" He called her name again in the hopes of earning a response when another action of hers astonished him even more, pausing his further questions.

She had pushed him against the wall, right beside the door, and had her hands planted on the wall, covering his way out.

His grasp on his bag strings tightened because of that, his eyes fluttering from bashfulness. That's what he felt even in the moment when the weariness was clouding him.

"You know, I kept looking at those pictures of yours." She whispered, inching close to his lips, making him shrink himself back into the wall.

"You looked so - gorgeous." Her breaths had turned heavy like her eyes and like her body against him.

"Look at me." Adding, she lifted his eyes up by his chin and regarded the changing color of his skin. He had turned so bashful that his skin was glimmering red in the morning light.

"Someone will come." He simply whispered, biting his lips as he struggled to keep from looking at her. At that point, his weariness had completely left him.

"Yeah?" She responded and inched her lips even closer, an inch away. "I just need one thing from you." Her thumb traveled like a snake to his lips and began grazing it with bitter gentleness.

"That will be enough to calm me down. Her thumb traveled further and parted his teeth, entering into his mouth. "It's --" He breathed heavily before adding, "It's morning."

He was picturing what she was asking. Did she want to torment him even more?

"Don't worry, it will not take so much of your time." She could not help but smile at the sight of a shy boy, who was so scared of being found out, but was rubbing his body against her.

"Are you not going to ask what I want?" She questioned as she pressed her thumb onto his tongue, making him widen his mouth.

Her thumb made him breath thickly before he stuttered, "What do you want?"

"Kiss me." Astonishment clouded him even more along with bashfulness. He had never kissed her voluntarily. She was the one who always initiated it.
