Chapter 3 - My judgment day

After following a very long line of dead souls, I was finally in the third row. In first place was an ugly-looking male soul, short and also fat, he was facing two black and white figures, standing alone in front of a golden balance scale that was truly huge in size, but looked small compared to the two black and white figures.

Meanwhile, in second place was a long-eared man who was extremely handsome and elegant, his good looks were dazzling and I'm sure many women fell in love with his beauty when he was alive. I tried to glance at his handsome face from behind and also his attractive long ears, then I concluded that this man in front of me was not a human race, but an elf.

On earth there are no creatures called elves, it's just a fantasy fiction story made up by humans, but there was a handsome elf figure in front of me. I instantly realized that God created several different worlds and all the spirits of the living beings who died in those worlds gathered together in the seventh heaven. Moreover, when I glanced at the back of the line, there were countless souls of living beings from many races other than elves. The fact that a fantasy world existed made me happy, but also uneasy, after all I loved fantasy-themed books, unfortunately I couldn't visit the fantasy world.

The moment of judgment of the ugly man had arrived, the two black-and-white figures stared at the man with piercing gazes and brightly lit eyeballs, the faces of the two figures also showed deep seriousness, then the two extended their palms towards the ugly man, then said simultaneously in an intimidating and resounding voice: "The day of your judgment has come. Your fate will be decided here. The merits and sins you committed while alive will be weighed. If the merits outweigh the sins, then you will enter the gate that leads to heaven. If the sins are heavier than the merits, then you will enter the gate that leads to hell. If your merits and sins are of equal weight, then you will be reincarnated into a different world from the one you lived in before."

The ugly man smiled and bowed his body, then he said in a soft voice, "I understand, O guardian angel of heaven and hell."

The ugly man looked so calm and confident, he wasn't anxious or worried at all, his calm demeanor as the day of judgment began made me believe that he was a kind-hearted person. His faith also seemed strong, he seemed to honor the two black-and-white angels with his formal words, perhaps I would finally witness a person entering heaven after seeing so many people being dragged through the gates to hell? Who knows.

The black and white figures raised their right hands and said simultaneously, "The day of judgment begins!" their voices sounded heavy and resonant, intimidating.

A big screen appeared on the balance scale, and soon, the ugly man's moments of goodness that he had done during his lifetime appeared on the big screen, like watching a movie of someone's life journey. The ugly man often did good things during his lifetime, such as praying diligently, helping others, donating money to orphanages, spreading happiness through sharing food, and many more.

Every good deed the ugly man did tilted the scales to the right, meaning that his good deeds were so numerous and heavy that they tilted the scales to the right. Then, after his good deeds were shown, now the sins that the ugly man had committed were shown. However, the ugly man rarely committed sins, he only lied once, but for the sake of someone's good. The scales only tilted slightly to the left because his sins were few and light.

I was touched by what that ugly man had done during his lifetime, he was really a good person, just as I had expected. His face was unsightly, but his heart was so gentle and noble. I should never judge someone by their cover.

After finishing the judgment, the black-and-white figures then extended their palms towards the ugly man, then said simultaneously in a soft tone, "O wise man, how sweet is the good you have done. The gates of heaven are open to the obedient and kind like you. However, before that, let us change your appearance in accordance with the beautiful good you are doing."

After saying that, the two palms of the black and white figure emitted a bright light towards the ugly man, then as the light dimmed and disappeared slowly, the ugly man's appearance changed drastically, now he was very handsome, his body was good, his curves were perfect, his hair glittered, and his muscles looked manly. Now that man could no longer be called a ugly man, but a very handsome man.

The black-and-white figure opened the gate to heaven, there was a very warm light emanating from inside the gate, besides that a fragrant fragrance also wafted from inside the gate, the fragrance made every soul who smelled it feel calm and peaceful, including me.

The black-and-white figure invited the handsome man to enter the gate. The handsome man nodded and smiled, then he stepped inside the gate to heaven. As his feet treaded the floor inside the gate to heaven, suddenly four beautiful female angels came to pick him up. The female angels had two white wings and wore elegant clothes. After the handsome man flew away with the female angels, the gate to heaven was closed tightly again, making the fragrance no longer smell.

Could it be that if I entered the gate of heaven I would be picked up by a handsome male angel? But I can't expect much, I am not sure whether I can go to heaven or not, after all I don't really remember what I did in the world and of course I am unlucky.

After the handsome man finished his judgement day, it was time for the elf man in front of me to step up to the scales to start his day of judgment. This elven man looked frightened and trembling, he was very agitated, then his eyes glanced left and right repeatedly. I guessed that this long-eared person was worried about the sins he had committed. However, I must not jump to conclusions, let the scales of the balance show it.

"O elf, come forward, it is your turn to face your day of judgment," the black and white figures said in unison.

The elf stepped forward hesitantly, his legs were trembling and he kept his head down.

The day of the elf man's judgment began, the big screen reappeared on the balance scale, and then all the deeds of the elf when he was alive were displayed before the trillions of souls lined up. The elf man had done good in his childhood, he couldn't even bear to hurt an ant. However, when he grew up, the elf man seemed to turn into a horrible monster. The elf man often commits criminal acts, such as robbing, killing, cheating, and raping women regardless of age. He often used his good looks to trick his targets. His balance scale tilted so far to the left that it pierced through the golden clouds where souls rested, indicating that his sins were too many and heavy.

What disgusted me the most while watching his life history was when the elf man raped the bodies of a mother and her young daughter after he killed them in a sadistic way, making me want to vomit while watching it.

Meanwhile, the elf man was screaming, denying everything he did that was shown on the big screen, "No! That's wrong! I never did that! I'm a good-looking guy! I couldn't have done that!"

From the way he spoke and his strange gestures, it was clear that the elf man was trying to twist the facts with his nonsense, after all, what was shown on the big screen was the real truth. And the elf man was confidently trying to lie to the black and white figures, perhaps even wanting to lie to God as well. What a brave, but incredibly stupid act.

Without saying much, the black-and-white figures immediately extended their palms toward the elven man, then said in a loud voice, "O filthy elf! Your sins are many! You will receive a fitting punishment for what you have done during your lifetime! You will be forver in the deepest hell and will receive the most grievous torment!"

The elven man immediately cried in fear, he prostrated himself before the black-and-white figure, "Please forgive me! I was wrong! I regret having committed that horrible act! At least grant me leniency! I don't want to be forever in hell!"

"Sudah terlambat! Tiada ampunan bagi jiwa jahat dan kotor sepertimu! Tuhan memang maha pengampun dan penuh kasih, tetapi beliau sangat adil dan tidak akan mengasihani pendosa besar sepertimu! Bila kau diampuni, orang-orang yang telah kau celakai akan merasakan ketidakadilan!" Sosok hitam-putih itu berbicara secara bersamaan.

The gates to hell were wide open. Instantly, a very foul smell wafted out when the gate to hell was opened by a black figure. I had to cover my nose, but the smell was still clear because the stench of hell was too strong. I had smelled this stench many times when I was in the back row, at first I felt nauseous and dizzy, wanted to vomit but couldn't, and now I was used to the stench.

"No! Please, forgive me! I don't want to go to hell!" The elf man screamed hysterically, he was glaring in fear and tears were streaming down his face.

From within the gate to hell, a large, sharp-nailed demonic hand emerged. The demon hand then gripped the elf man so tightly that he cried out in pain. I've seen this demon hand many times, it always grabs the souls of sinners and brings them to hell.

The demon's hand carried the elven man into the gate to hell and the gate was then sealed shut. The foul scent didn't smell anymore after the gate closed. I could breathe freely without having to feel nauseous anymore.

Now I was at the front of the line. My turn to face my judgment day. I took a breath and let it out slowly. My fate depended on what I had done during my lifetime. I could be forever in hell, or maybe I would enjoy the beauty of heaven. Whatever it is I will accept it gracefully and be ready to take responsibility.

"O woman, come forward, stand before the scales of balance. The day of your judgment has come, prepare to be judged," the black-and-white figures simultaneously said so.

I furrowed my brow and stepped forward, ready to be judged. I stopped in front of the balance scale, then looked up, staring at the big screen that appeared above the scale seriously. I knew there had been some embarrassing moments in my life and that they would be displayed before millions of souls, so I prepared for them.

"Your day of judgment begins!" The black-and-white figure said it in an echoing voice.

The big screen above the scale then showed my life history during my lifetime, from when I was a child to when I was an adult. As a child, I was a quiet child, loved reading and didn't like playing with my friends. I was different from other children, who mostly loved toys, but I loved books. Growing up, I went to school and always got the best grades, my classmates always praised me and approached me when they wanted to, but they never had intimate conversations with me. Growing up, I started looking for a job, but unfortunately I fell into the abyss and became a corporate slave.

I'd forgotten the good I'd done in the world, but now I remembered it after the big screen showed it. I love animals, I always feed hungry cats and street dogs. I always help people in trouble, whether it's trouble solving problems or trouble finding food, I simply can't see a living being starving. I sometimes donated a small amount of money for the construction of places of worship, even though my economic condition was not good at that time. And I often donate my money to people who are being genocided by an evil nation even though my salary is small, then this one kindness makes the balance scale tilt to the right until it touch the golden cloud.

I was really surprised that the rewards I got from donating to help people who were being slaughtered were so great that it made the balance sheet unbalanced. How could I not remember making any sort of donation, the effects of overworking are truly horrifying.

However, I mustn't be relieved too early, indeed the scales of hell were weighted to the right, which meant the merits I had were numerous, but I mustn't forget that I must have sins. I stared at the big screen with a serious look and frowned when it started showing my sinful actions.

I was so busy working that I rarely worshipped, this was a huge sin of mine, making the balance scale tilt drastically to the left, but the right side of the scale was still heavier. My next sin was often reading adult novels and watching porn videos, I was so embarrassed when the big screen showed me enjoying indecent things. Then, my last sin, was when I masturbated while enjoying indecent things, I had no other choice but to do so, because I was also human, I needed an outlet for my lust, but unfortunately I was single and could only vent my lust with my fingers, not to my legal partner. This made me even more embarrassed, I held my head and looked down limply.

Now the scales tilted slightly to the left, my sins outweighed my merits. At first I thought that this was the final result and that I would go to hell, but no, the scales began to tilt to the right and the screen on top showed the fact that I was a woman who was still untouched by anyone, aka still pure and virgin. Virginity is a symbol of purity, so my purity seemed to be converted into merit and entered into the calculation of the scales of the balance sheet, so that the scales were now equally weighted, balanced, not tilting to the left and not tilting to the right. My sins and merits are equally weighted, which means I probably won't go to heaven or hell. Either I should be relieved or not.

The black-and-white figure looked at me closely with a serious gaze, then they both said simultaneously:

"Your sins and merits are balanced, O woman. You are a kind-hearted person, yet you do not honor your God because you repeatedly disobey his commands and violate his prohibitions. Therefore, you will not enter into heaven or hell, instead you will be reincarnated into one of the millions of worlds in the universe. God is giving you a second chance to obey him, use this chance well so that you enter heaven, O woman."

"R-reincarnation? Don't I have to start life all over again?" I was both surprised and dumbfounded when I heard that, I didn't think I would be reincarnated, but it made sense since I couldn't go to heaven or hell, I should be grateful to be reincarnated instead of going to hell.

"The angel will take your soul to one of the millions world in this universe. Your spirit will be inserted into the body of a newborn baby. Enjoy your new life, woman. Do not waste this opportunity." The black-and-white figures said this in unison, raising their right hands up.

Instantly a beautiful angel appeared from within the sacred circle formed on top of the balance scale, then the charming angel lifted my soul using her magical power so that I was floating on a golden cloud. I was held by the angel, then she suddenly sped up faster than the speed of light, descending into the seventh heaven.

I screamed so loudly as the beautiful angel carried me at a speed beyond reason, I felt like I was being crushed by the air as we both flew down the layers of sky, and it was so painful.

"Please, slow down! Take me slowly! It's as if I'm going to be crushed in the near future! Please slow down your flight, angel!" I kept shouting and pleading to the charming angel, but it seemed like the elegant winged creature didn't care about me and continued to fly at high speed.

When the beautiful angel had descended the seven heavens, she touched my chest gently and looked at me with a small smile, then she said: "God has assigned a new body to you. You will be reborn as a baby girl, but your memories of your previous life will not be erased. I hope you make good use of your memories and knowledge from your previous life."

I couldn't say anything when the beautiful angel spoke thus. I bowed my head and thought about the people I loved in my old life. I was going to be reborn and of course have a new family, it was very difficult to accept the fact that I had to leave my old family, especially my old mother.

I looked at the beautiful angel, then asked, "What about my old mother? Will she still be my mother after I reincarnate and have a new mother?"

The beautiful angel replied with closed eyes and a sweet smile: "Of course she will always be your mother. I know what you're feeling right now, but don't worry, it's a blessing to have two mothers from different worlds."

"B-Blessing? Ah, well, I think I understand what you mean, O angel." It means that I will be cherished and loved by two people at once, that is indeed a great blessing.

"It's good that you understand, now it's time for me to put your soul into the body of a baby that will come out of a woman's womb." The beautiful angel's hand that touched my chest instantly emitted a bright light after saying so.

I had a bad feeling about this. The beautiful angel was definitely going to do something crazy while sending my soul into my new body. I smiled bitterly and clenched my hands tightly, preparing myself not to scream like when this angel brought me down from the seventh heaven.

"Goodbye." The light in the palm of the beautiful angel's hand grew brighter and brighter, and soon it produced a powerful explosion and sent me flying at a speed that exceeded the flying speed of the charming angel before.

"AAAAAAA!!!" There was nothing I could do but scream. I shot through the galaxy and the huge stars. I felt like crying out loud because this was so scary and painful for me. Darting downward at this crazy speed was like having my skin ruthlessly flayed, it really hurt.

Until finally my soul entered the atmosphere of a planet and crashed onto the roof of a magnificent-looking house. The impact of my body didn't have any impact on the roof of the luxurious house, because I was actually still in the unseen realm. However, for some reason I felt like a meteorite.

Inside a room, the groan of a woman in labor could be heard. The blonde-haired, blue-eyed woman seemed to be struggling to deliver her baby. Her beautiful face was seriously contorted, both hands gripped the bedding firmly, then she was panting and her whole body was dripping with sweat.

"Just a little more, Duchess Marie, fight on! Your baby is about to be born into this world!" A female nurse A held both legs of the blonde-haired woman named Marie.

"Take a deep breath, then breathe out slowly. Do that repeatedly, Duchess Marie." Nurse B wiped the sweat that was pouring down Duchess Marie's face with a clean white cloth.

After struggling mightily to deliver her baby, Duchess Marie finally managed to deliver the white-haired baby safely. The baby cried loudly while in the arms of a nurse.

"Congratulations, Duchess Marie. You have given birth to a healthy baby girl! It's just that... your baby has white hair." The nurse looked worried as she saw the white hair on the baby she was cleaning of mucus.

Duchess Marie was breathing heavily, her face very haggard and covered in sweat. "Thank goodness...." She didn't seem to care about the color of her baby's hair.

That baby was none other than myself. I was crying out loud not because of anything else, but because of the beautiful angel who put my soul into this baby's body in a very crazy way. Making me go through a horrible experience that I'll never forget. Then, for some reason I felt hungry, I also couldn't stop crying and my body was hard to move. I had indeed been a baby in my previous life, but back then I didn't have any sort of memory or ability to remember when I was a baby, now I didn't expect to be able to experience firsthand the sensation of being a baby, it felt really uncomfortable.

However, I didn't hate being a baby, instead I was happy that I could go back to being a child and enjoy my life without having to think about work and life's problems for a while. I couldn't help this burning excitement, I grinned widely from overexcitement.

"T-this baby is crying while grinning!?" The nurse who was cleaning me looked surprised.
