Feng Ruoxi sat on the bed, absorbed in her phone, when Jiang Yukang emerged from the bathroom. "You seem preoccupied, wifey," he remarked, eyeing her curiously.

Ruoxi glanced up. "Just busy with a few things."

"Don't tell me you're thinking about that...Pang Zhong," Yukang said, a hint of jealousy tinging his voice.

Ruoxi arched an eyebrow. "Jealousy doesn't suit you."

"So you are thinking about him," Yukang pressed.

She waved a dismissive hand. "You should think better of me. A man Feng Meiling finds appealing would never be my cup of tea."

Yukang chuckled. "I see."

"But I must admit," Ruoxi added slowly, "there is something about him that captures my attention."

Yukang's eyebrows shot up. "Now I'm jealous."
