Game Forum

Sandy was initially stunned by the generosity of Xu Feng and wanted to decline his money, but Xu Feng insisted on her taking it.

"You helped me tremendously by connecting me with someone like Herbalist Elias. Hence, this money is well deserved and you shouldn't feel any guilt in accepting it." He said, practically shoving the money to her face.

Without a choice, Sandy could only reluctantly accept the money. Though her acting needed some improvement since Xu Feng could tell she was excited.

After repeatedly thanking him, Sandy promptly exited the room, leaving him alone.

As the door closed, Xu Feng breathed out a sigh of relief. Sandy might not have been a candidate for the rapport status, but she was still a receptionist nevertheless in the Town Hall.

Having an amicable relationship with her would only prove useful in the future.

After all, just because an NPC doesn't have a rapport status doesn't mean they won't have an impression toward a player.

In fact, these NPCs are usually difficult to deal with because players have no information about them, meaning they could only try their best to increase the invisible rapport with them.

Thus, by generously tipping Sandy with 5 copper coins, Xu Feng was investing in her and wasn't actually being a philanthropist.

"This unexpected haul is really a good feeling." He muttered, having completed at least 60 percent of his current goal, albeit with some alterations due to some mishaps.

Despite the mishaps, Xu Feng was rather glad of this development. The gain from this unexpected development was definitely superior to his original goal.

A wealth of 3 gold coins and 5 copper coins, along with numerous recipes which he had already learned, things were going great.

"Anyway, time to check on the forum and see if anyone's been talking about me." Xu Feng clasped his hands and opened the game forum.

The game forum was a lovely feature provided for players to interact with others who are in the same or different regions.

It was a great information-sharing platform for players, but it was mainly a large gossip group to be blunt.

Players who wanted to spread rumors or witnessed something special and wanted to share them would come to the game forum to talk about it.

Glancing at the game forum which was filled with all kinds of topics, Xu Feng decided to filter them to a specific region.

Aetheria Empire, Riverwood Town

-Breaking News: A mysterious player was able to head upstairs to the Town Hall!

Attached: Screenshot evidence of the mysterious player walking upstairs

-Shocking!!! A player can head upstairs to the Town Hall? A hidden quest maybe?

-Player capable of entering the 2nd floor in the Town Hall!

Among all of the posts, there was one that garnered the most attention and had the most activities, with countless players discussing it.

After all, the poster was a player named OneManMedia and to prove his credentials, the player even added a screenshot image of his back in the attachment.

Since screenshots or videos taken from the Divine World could not be altered, it was the greatest concrete evidence. The downside of this function was screenshots and videos actually required in-game currency to use.

Thus, the player who had used the trick that Xu Feng had now stolen could not produce sufficient evidence.

He had just started, so he did not have enough money to take any screenshots or videos. Instead, he had to rely on talking and letting people verify him personally to prove his claims.

"A screenshot cost 20 copper coins, but this player was able to afford it this early on. Am I supposed to be impressed or disappointed?" On one hand, Xu Feng was thankful that OneManMedia had helped advertise him, but on the other hand, he found him to be a spendthrift.

At the current stage, players would rather spend their money wisely on gears or other useful things. Yet this player was willing to waste 20 copper coins to take a screenshot.

Either this player was very bold or they were very dumb. Xu Feng hoped it was the former since it meant that this OneManMedia had the potential to be useful.

It was just a shame that Xu Feng couldn't recall such a player which meant that he didn't become an influential person.

He had memorized most of the famous or influential players back then to study and analyze them to prepare himself. Thus, he was positive that a player going by the user OneManMedia had never entered his list of targets.

'Seeing how OneManMedia was willing to waste 20 copper coins for this screenshot, I suppose he's an ambitious person.'

For an ambitious person to not make a name for themselves usually involves two reasons. One, he was unsuccessful and failed miserably, or two, he succeeded but eventually got buried by the top and forgotten.

Tapping his finger silently on the table, Xu Feng decided to put this player's name in his mind. Whether the player was a clever person or just a reckless fool, Xu Feng could determine after some tests.

Clicking on the forum, Xu Feng proceeded to read the comments left by other players in the region.

Herald Fist: Where is that player currently? I wished to meet with them for a possible collaboration.

Gentle Wind: I have sent a private message to you, OneManMedia.

Crimson Rose: Are you positive it's a player and not just an NPC dressed like a player? It's quite difficult to tell from the angle of the screenshot.

Lotus Lime: Why are you all commenting here? The poster literally said it was in the Town Hall. Just move your fat body there and wait in the lobby!

Herald Fist: ??? Do you think I don't want to wait in the lobby? I'm a busy person and have to do quests to level up for the first-clear achievement in the dungeon.

Lotus Lime: Yet you have the time to be in the game forum. Sheesh, I didn't know you were a ninja that could clone yourself. Forgive me, Ninja Fist~

Reading the comment from Lotus Lime, Xu Feng nearly laughed a bit. At least there was one sensible person who could actually read and connect the clues, as well as crack hilarious jokes.

"Herald Fist, Gentle Wind, and Crimson Rose… you three are definitely some pretentious folks." He gave his verdict and fixed his glasses, a somewhat sinister grin appeared on his face.
