Although Overlord was just a status and term made up by Divine World players, the truth remained that receiving such a status meant being acknowledged for their strength.

No party would ever want to mess with a guild that had been labeled as Overlord.

And precisely so, an Overlord status could also be sold to another entity, with the premises that the former seller would guarantee the buyer's protection for a certain period.

It was a very rare incident, but it had happened before in previous VRMMORPGs.
