Xu Feng was never the type to brag, but he does have to say his memories of many events were great. 

As long as he was given some clues or hints about certain events, his mind would quickly recall them. This was also the main reason why he was able to remember many critical points that happened in the Divine World. 

It wasn't that he got an eidetic memory, capable of remembering an extensive amount of information. Instead, he only knew brief important key aspects and his muscle memory would kick in. 

Think of it as having played a game for decades and then paused for a few months. Despite the pause, the player's muscle memory would still recall most of the game mechanics. 

And that was precisely what happened to him. He might have gone back in time, but in his mind, it was just a slight pause.
