As Eve and Ava neared the outskirts of Draconis City, the skyline came into view, a sprawling metropolis bathed in the soft glow of moonlight. The city's architecture was a blend of the old and new, towering skyscrapers standing alongside ancient stone buildings that whispered of a long and storied past.

"We're almost there," Eve said, her voice tinged with relief. "Let's find a place to rest and regroup. We need to figure out our next move."

Ava nodded in agreement. "And maybe we can learn more about Lucian and what he's up to. There's something about him... I feel like our paths are meant to cross again."

They navigated the bustling streets, eventually finding themselves in a long line at the city gates. The gates were massive, flanked by guards and fortified by an array of magical defenses that shimmered in the night. The line moved slowly as each person ahead of them was checked thoroughly before being allowed entry.
