For months, Jace trained under Liora's strict guidance, honing his vampire abilities to their peak. During this period, he sent letters to the girls, fabricating stories about being on a long-term mission. He couldn't reveal the truth about training under the Queen of the Night, knowing the implications and potential dangers it might bring.

Liora's first lesson focused on enhancing Jace's senses. He spent days blindfolded, relying solely on his hearing and smell to navigate and combat. Liora would release various scents and sounds in the training ground, forcing Jace to distinguish between friend and foe, threat and harmless distraction.

Each night, his training intensified. He was led into a forest where he had to find his way back to the castle using only his heightened senses. Every rustle of leaves, every faint scent of animals or enemies, became crucial clues. This relentless practice sharpened his awareness to an extraordinary level.
