A Humbling Lesson, and A Humbling Surprise...

"The ants run out of their burrows, and once they sight the puddle of water on the ground, they think it would be nice to jump into a puddle of water instead of jumping onto the ground because they think it's safe. But if the water is cold, their entire body freezes up from the sudden change, and what might result from such is drowsiness, shivering, paralysis, and then drowning. The poor ants think the water is safe, but on jumping into the water, they slowly lose their consciousness from the conjunction of the intense and unused effect on them, and then they drown and soon die. Why don't you try to dry up the water and see what happens?" Hael asked.
