"Heheheh..." The sound and devilish crackles of the surrounding eldritches rang out as Hael turned to look at them fully, counting them to reach a total of 21.

Out of all of them, only a single person was in his humanoid form, and that person was so incredibly familiar to him that Hael creased his eyebrows.

"It's been a long time, Kiddo," he said to him first, and just as Hael confirmed he was truly the one, the boss of the five whose large attack had almost brought an end to his life.

The only one who was said to have been able to be caught. How the hell was he in the academy?

"You're pretty brave to come back to your death grounds, aren't you?" Hael asked as the man grinned evilly.

"Oh, thank you for the much-appreciated care. But the thing is, you see that barrier behind you? It has quite the special effect of a very potent illusion.
