"What?" Hael asked, witnessing how Princess Nyx simply looked at him dazedly for a long time.

Their eye contact held for close to a minute straight, and it greatly unnerved him.

[Tch, isn't it because of your damn charm? Sooner or later, you'll be swarming around with girls. I have to do something about this.

Just a little more time and I'll finally get much better control over this damn system.

Then, I'll make sure you go through hell... I mean, sculpt you up into a finer man,] the system said in his head as Hael's heart dropped in his chest.

"I should be asking you that. You looked at me first..." Princess Nyx yelled in embarrassment as Hael grinned playfully before settling back onto the boat and slowly rowing back to where they came from.

Silently, he rowed back, and strangely, the cave instead of continuing its lighting was actually dimming its light, and the astral blue in the river shone up slightly brighter.
