"You know well that whatever you're saying, I never signed up for it," Hael responded as the pain on him was forcefully pushed away by him, gritting his teeth to maintain enough consciousness to properly listen to the system's words.

The system was acting strange and it was scaring the hell out of him. He needed to properly understand it, but the pain was preventing that.

[No, Hael. You were the one that signed up for it. You signed up for it when you took that crystal at the bottom of the ocean and you chose to enter into the portal,] the system replied apathetically.
