THE AMBUSH
"How do we get to a place that is alleged to be lost,we don't even know if it exists"Sarah asked "oh you know we will just hop on a magical unicorn and ride the rainbow straight to Atlantis,piece of cake" Carlos said.
We had managed to get out of town, the streets we passed looked horrifying with strange symbols on the walls, the gates and path leading in and out of town had been covered in the thickest ivy bushes and vines
"Let's just take this trip with positivity"Ethan said "your girlfriend is taking us on this trip with a map that is barely readable" Sarah said "guys just shut it"I said"when is that spirit guardian lady visiting again" Carlos said "I don't know let's just try and figure all this out" Emma said "I hope the supplies we got will be enough till we come back" Ethan said " wow such an optimist,we haven't even found a way to get to the losttttt city" Sarah said sarcastically emphasizing the "lost" with her fingers.
"We haven't encountered any demons on the way,that's surprising" I said
"Oh you want us to be attacked by demons"Sarah asked "no,it's suspicious because they should have been alerted by our moves"I said
"Let's just get out of this dark forest and see sunlight" Carlos said
The woods at the outskirts of town was so thick and the tress blocked light from coming down to the grounds of the forest, the floors were coated with Black soil,as we journeyed deeper inside the dark forest, suddenly eerie whispers filled the air "guys is it just me or did this place become more creepier"Carlos said, shadows began to dance menacingly around us.
Using my psychic abilities,I sensed many demon possessed bodies lurking behind the trees"guys we are not alone, demons are lurking around we are under attack"I said with fear in my voice "ok psychic girl, please tell me those demons are just here to tell us the way to Atlantis"Carlos said "why would there want to do that"Sarah said "apparently no"I said creating a psychic barrier, locking the demons out as they swiftly jumped out of hiding to attack us, the demons continued to increase in numbers "Ethannnn! I could need the help of your shield orbs thingy" I said tired from trying to hold them off, Ethan quickly stepped forward
He quickly Created a shield orb a round us, the orb pulsated with energy repelling the dark forces, buying us more time,"shield orbs huh?,I guess it's your job to make sure we don't get killed by this rogue monsters" Carlos said " I can't hold this off for more than three minutes,it's draining the f**k out of me"Ethan said
The demons continued to increase in number trying to get past the barrier, the situation was quickly getting out of hand, they were already tearing through the barrier, some had began to drill out of the floor beneath us moving to attack us,we let out horrified screams in fear.
We suddenly found ourselves teleported in a cave,"teleporting through time and space, just your average day at the office for me no biggie"Carlos said dusting his shoulder "man shut up, you should have gotten us out from there earlier" Ethan said exhausted "oh yeah thanks for saving my ass Carlos..oh you are welcome,no biggie"Carlos said with a wave of his hands "guy no jokes you should have gotten us out from that place earlier" I said mortified that Carlos was still making jokes "guys it was as if something was manipulating my mind from having the thought of getting us out it was at the dying moment when you guys screamed was when I was about to do it"Carlos said "it must be those demons, those creatures are quite manipulative, there were hell bent on taking us out"Sarah said "good thing we got out"Ethan said "so what next team white lotus"Carlos said"let's just stay here and catch our breaths a bit" I said.
