"No," Diane smiled, completely withdrawing her gaze from the stage. She refused to watch the performance anymore.

Christian had his gaze on her for a moment to ascertain if she had a code-red issue and needed them to leave. But when he saw that he had nothing to worry about, he fixed his gaze back on the stage.

As soon as the performance was over, the rest of the guests raised a loud applause, signalling the end of their formal sitting.

"I want to meet Maya for something. Please let me know when you see Brian," Diane whispered to Christian before leaving their table.
