THERE ONCE WAS A BOY , OHH AN INOCCENT BOY
BUT INNOCENCE NEVER LAST FOR EVER
AT A YOUNG AGE HE SAW HIS MOM PAINTED IN RED
A BEAUTIFUL PAINTING ON HER WRIST (A POEM BY ME)
A PAINTING SO CHAOTIC
A PAINTING SO BEAUTIFUL
A PAINTING THAT SHOWS A THOUSAND TRUTHS
A PAINTING MADE FROM SUCH FINE LINES
A PAINTING SO SAD
A PAINTING FULL OF HOPE THAT HER EXISTENCE WOULD CEASE
A PAINTING ON YOUR WRIST
A PAINTING SO CRUEL
AND YOUR CHILD LEFT SO SCARED
THIS CHILDS MOM THOUGHT IT WAS A GOOD IDEA , HOW CREUL OF HER
BUT THIS WASNT THE FIRST TIME . LUCKLY HE LIVED WITH HIS DAD NOT HIS MOM .
YEARS GO BY AND ABUSE HAPPENS , AND HIS MOM HAS MORE CHILDREN
SHE GETS BETTER
BUT ONE DAY AT THE AGE OF 15 HE GETS NEWS THAT WILL FOREVER CHANGE HIS LIFE .
GIVING HIM HATRED BEYOND BELIEF
Goodbyes are meant to be temporary (A POEM BY ME)
goodbyes are meant to be temporary
But all mine have been forever
I hoped that you would be different
I hoped that i could say hello again
goodbyes are meant to be temporary
But you left before i could say hello again
I wish i could could call your name again
And you would answer back
But a rope took that away from me
I wish you had spoken up
But you kept quite
I knew you were suffering
But i ignored your cries
But soon i found myself crying out your name on my bathroom floor
Goodbyes are meant to be temporary
But ours seems to be permanent
HANGING FROM A ROPE WAS HIS LITTLE BROTHER
I GEUSS HE COULDNT HANDLE THE ABUSE
THE BOY HATED HIS MOM BUT ALSO HIMSELF
Are you okay?(A POEM BY ME)
Are you okay ?
A simple question that could have saved you
A question that's like a light in the darkness
A question that's like a hand reaching out to you
A question that would have helped you
Are you okay?
A question that's only three words
A question so easy to ask
But i failed to do the easiest of things
Now i all i want is for them to ask me
If I'm okay?
a simple question is all he had to ask but no he didn't and now he blames himself for allowing his younger brother to die
HE HATES HIMSELF STILL
HE WANTED TO END HIMSELF BUT HE REMBERED WHAT HE FELT WHEN HIS BROTHER HUNG FROM THE ROOF
SO NOW HE TRAVELS DOWN A PATH OF QEUSTIONING
