Looking at Byakuya in front of him made Kaido fall into despair, but now, there was no time for questions.

Because at this point, Kaido had no other choice.

Kaido, in his massive Azure Dragon form, lowered his sharp, twenty-meter-long horns and charged straight at Byakuya, accelerating in an attempt to skewer him to death.

Seeing this, Byakuya couldn't help but laugh. "Oh? You're handing me your horns on a silver platter?"

With a flicker of his figure, Byakuya appeared right next to the incoming horns.

Kaido's eyes filled with terror as he watched those dreaded, malevolent hands land directly on his dragon horns.

"NOOOO!"

Before the stunned spectators could fully process what was happening, an ear-piercing scream echoed through the sky.

Kaido's enormous form plummeted from the storm clouds above.

As he crashed down, his dragon head bore a visible, compact fist imprint, his upper body was covered in blood, and his two massive dragon horns, along with all four of his claws, were gone.

The onlookers were horrified. They never imagined that even after fleeing, Kaido would still be hunted down by Byakuya.

And worse, Byakuya had collected Kaido's dragon horns and claws, stripping him of his most fearsome features.

The once-mighty Azure Dragon had now been reduced to nothing more than an oversized snake.

Jack stared at Kaido's miserable state, recalling his own past encounter with Byakuya.

Instinctively, he reached up and touched the two ivory tusks that had only just regrown and fell into deep contemplation.

"Maybe… I should just snap them off myself. Better than getting Byakuya's attention again…"

"Shut up! Your screaming is annoying!"

As Kaido howled in agony, Byakuya slapped his dragon head with a casual backhand.

The cry was cut off instantly.

A hundred dragon teeth shattered under Byakuya's terrifying strength, scattering through the air and falling from Kaido's mouth like hailstones.

Kaido's vision blurred. For a moment, he couldn't even feel his own head.

Then, through his hazy consciousness, he suddenly noticed Byakuya was standing right beside him, and once again, those dreaded hands were reaching for him.

A horrifying thought flashed through Kaido's mind. He tried to speak, but all that came out was a muffled whimper. Byakuya's lips curled into a cruel smile.

Just like with Momonosuke, he had been waiting to do this for a long time. With a sudden, explosive force, Byakuya tore Kaido's thousand-meter-long dragon body apart.

Blood gushed out from the wounds like a torrential downpour, staining the sky crimson. It was as if a rain of blood had begun to fall.

Everyone who witnessed this scene would remember it as the most terrifying moment of their lives.

Suspended in midair, Byakuya gripped half of Kaido's massive, severed dragon body in each hand.

Warm blood streamed down the remains, dripping onto the frozen battlefield below with deafening thuds. Kaido's once fierce, bell-like dragon eyes gradually dimmed.

His toothless mouth hung wide open as if trying to scream out the agony he had just endured. Byakuya casually tossed the two halves of Kaido's corpse onto Big Mom's lifeless body.

Boom!

The ice trembled violently from the impact. Then, with an air of indifference, Byakuya brushed the blood off his gloves and sighed.

"Man… I really am such a kind person. At least I let these two lovers die together. What a great guy I am."

But to everyone witnessing this, there was no room for admiration. There was only pure, unfiltered terror. First, a single punch had killed Big Mom.

Then, he had ripped Kaido apart with his bare hands. These weren't things a human could do, yet they had just happened before their very eyes.

Many of the onlookers instinctively turned toward Whitebeard. The former Strongest Man in the World, what fate awaited him now?

Or rather, how many seconds could he even last? Byakuya slowly ascended through the air as if stepping on invisible stairs, approaching the Whitebeard Pirates.

With each step he took, the weight in their hearts grew heavier. They knew. They were next.

When Byakuya reached the same level as Whitebeard, he locked eyes with him and spoke in a calm voice.

"To be honest, you're different from the other three Pirate Emperors."

"Your goal has always been simple and pure, and for that, I don't have any deep resentment toward you."

Upon hearing these words, many of those present, especially the members of the Whitebeard Pirates, felt a flicker of hope.

Could it be that Byakuya was willing to spare them? But then, Byakuya's tone shifted, cold and unwavering.

"But you made the wrong move, and when you make a mistake, there's always a price to pay."

"I'll make sure you leave this world with dignity."

Byakuya had always held a certain degree of respect for Whitebeard, but nothing more than that. Above all, Byakuya had always lived by a simple rule.

"If no one messes with me, I won't mess with them."

Ever since he had left the Marine training camp, he had never actively sought conflict with the Whitebeard Pirates.

Aside from Ace throwing himself into danger, there had never been any direct clashes between them.

But now, Whitebeard had invaded G-5, using Ace and Thatch's deaths as an excuse, forcing Byakuya to reveal himself.

Had he not shown up, Fujitora, Fergus, Ain, Tashigi, and countless Marine soldiers would have all died at Whitebeard's hands.

Sure, maybe Whitebeard had been manipulated into making this move. But in the end, "Your stupidity is none of my concern. All I know is you tried to kill my people, and for that, you must die."

Rather than letting Whitebeard suffer the same fate as he did in the Summit War—betrayed by his own "sons" before having half his head blown off by Akainu—Byakuya decided to grant him a more dignified death.

At the very least, it would be a fair one-on-one battle, allowing him to die honourably in combat. With that decision made, Byakuya gave the order.

"Night Organization, clear the field!"

With Big Mom and Kaido both dead, the Big Mom Pirates and Beasts Pirates were left leaderless, their forces thrown into chaos. Naturally, Byakuya wasn't about to let them escape.

Since they had already come all this way, it was only fair that they contributed some World Source Power before meeting their end.

The moment Byakuya's command was issued, Fujitora set his sights on King, who was attempting to flee.

"Come," he called out, his voice steady. "Let's finish the battle we left unfinished last time."

At the same time, Zephyr felt his blood boiling with excitement.

Turning to Garp and Kuzan, he declared, "I've already decided to resign from my position as Marine Instructor. From now on, I'll be following my fine disciple's lead."

"As for you two, your current status makes it unsuitable for you to participate in this fight, so just sit back and watch. I'm off!"

With that, Zephyr strode over to the Beasts Pirates' ship, grinning as he locked eyes with Queen.

"Last time, that bastard Kaido saved your sorry hide. But today, Kaido is dead. Let's see who can save you now."

Elsewhere, Lucci appeared in front of Jack, his gaze fixed on the mammoth's newly grown tusks.

"Lord Byakuya ordered me to take your tusks again," he said coldly. "Prepare to die."

Meanwhile, Sonic, now having consumed the Float-Float Fruit, turned his attention to Katakuri.

"Last time, you had numbers on your side," he said icily. "This time, let's see how you fare."

Katakuri felt a wave of despair wash over him. Given the current situation, even if he managed to defeat Sonic, what difference would it make?

In the end, death was inevitable. He looked at Byakuya's back, hesitating to say something. But in the end, he remained silent.

Back when Byakuya had invited him to join the Night Organization, that had been his one and only chance.

Later, when Big Mom's crew had secretly plotted to attack the G-5 base, he could have warned Byakuya. But he didn't.

Because he had been convinced that Byakuya wasn't strong enough to take on three Emperor-level pirate crews at once.

If he had betrayed Big Mom back then, it would've been no different from stepping into certain death.

Yet, that very belief—his own arrogance—had led him and all his siblings straight into a deadly trap.

On the battlefield, Law and Hancock took on Smoothie and Cracker.

Enel and Tatsumaki handled the other pirates with bounties in the hundreds of millions with ruthless efficiency.

Given their overwhelming strength, it was nothing short of a massacre.

Zephyr and Fujitora were able to wrap up their fights quickly, and they would soon be free to help eliminate the remaining pirates.

Even without Byakuya, the Night Organization alone was already more than capable of wiping out an entire Emperor-level pirate crew.

The Whitebeard Pirates and those watching the live broadcast could only stare in shock.

One by one, the infamous pirates of the New World fell, their agonized screams ringing out as they perished before their very eyes.

A deep sense of dread settled over them.

The Whitebeard Pirates knew the moment Whitebeard and Byakuya finished their battle, their own deaths would follow.

They could intervene now, help the Beasts Pirates and Big Mom Pirates fight back.

But doing so would only serve to anger Byakuya, making him turn on them even sooner.

It was better to simply wait.

With Fujitora and Zephyr swiftly eliminating their enemies and Tatsumaki's strength exceeding all expectations, the battlefield was soon cleared.

Before long, the only ones left standing… Were the Whitebeard Pirates. The old era's ship was destined to sink.
