Arrest

The soldiers finally couldn't hold on and began to retreat.

Standing by the window on the ground and watching his soldiers retreat one by one, a look of astonishment appeared on the thin officer's face.

The unexpectedly powerful and fierce enemy made him feel threatened.

He stepped back, preparing to leave, while ordering, "Send a mech squad to reinforce!"

Approaching a flying car, he got in and was about to drive away when he saw Bert Lyle, his bodyguards, and Elizabeth running towards him.

Bert Lyle, limping as he ran, shouted, "Wait for me, Blakem, let me in the car!"

The thin officer glanced at Bert Lyle, pondered for a moment, and eventually opened the car door.

Lyle helped his daughter into the car, took a seat in the back, while the bodyguard sat in the front.

Lyle said to the thin officer, "What do you mean by this, Blakem? Your men wouldn't accidentally injure me like that!"

Blakem replied indifferently, "You better keep quiet, Lyle. After the mess you made, taking a bullet is the least punishment you deserve."

"I didn't mess up anything! It's your overpriced bodyguards who are useless!" Lyle pointed to the bodyguard beside him and yelled, while the young bodyguard hung his head in embarrassment, saying nothing.

"That's not my concern. All I know is trouble is trouble, and when there's trouble, it needs to be dealt with," Blakem replied, glancing outside the car. The soldiers had retreated from outside the station to inside. The tall one was carrying their sample Fire God cannon like an imposing deity, striding arrogantly, with a violent stream of bullets that could tear everything apart at any moment.

"We need to go," Blakem said. "I don't want to be hit by a stray bullet."

"I assure you, that won't happen," Elizabeth, just rescued, suddenly said.

Blakem was startled for a moment and looked at Elizabeth. "What do you mean?"

"I mean, he won't attack here. If you look closely, you'll see that his firepower has always been focused in front and has never deviated in this direction," Elizabeth pointed forward.

Everyone followed Elizabeth's gaze, and as she said, Tyckus's hand was steady, his gun always aimed at the enemy in front, paying no attention to the enemies on the right, most of whom were taken care of by Nora and the others.

"Why is that?" Blakem didn't understand.

"Because I'm here," Elizabeth said with a slight smile.

The three of them were stunned at the same time. The bodyguard reacted fastest, about to take action, but a palm had already hit his neck, and he passed out with white eyes. Blakem was shocked. He was about to pull out his gun, but a gun was already aimed at his head. "Don't move, buddy."

Bert Lyle could hardly believe his eyes. He looked at his daughter and shouted, "Elizabeth, how could you do this?"

"Sorry, I'm not your unlucky daughter, and I won't have a father like you who throws his daughter into the fire pit," Elizabeth said, as her face changed, turning into the appearance of Nava.

The sudden transformation dumbfounded both Blakem and Lyle.

Seeing their reactions, Nava smiled triumphantly.

She enjoyed seeing them like this. When she was on the Abrody, she often teased her colleagues in this way, luring them into saying things they wouldn't normally say, and then reverting to her own appearance amidst their gasps of horror, enjoying their shocked expressions.

Experiencing this feeling again, Nava said to the terminal, "Mission accomplished. Lucky this time. Mr. Blakem is in my hands."

"Well done. I'll be right over," Reno said.

Then came the virus: "A mech squad is rushing over. They must be their reinforcements."

"Leave it to me," Nava smiled, looking at Blakem. "Order the mech squad to retreat."

Blakem remained motionless.

The gun was aimed at his temple.

Blakem swallowed hard, unable to withstand the pressure. He turned to the terminal again and said, "Cease reinforcements. Mech squad, retreat."

"Received. Retreating," came the response.

Hearing this, Blakem reluctantly closed his eyes.

Without the support of the mech squad, the battle at this moment was a massacre.

Their own massacre!

"Get out of the car. My boss has some questions for you!" Nava said to Blakem and Lyle.

The two had no choice but to get out of the car, with Nava pointing a gun at them, waiting for Reno to arrive.

She didn't notice that the young bodyguard she had knocked out was slowly standing up.

A beat-up flying car was flying from a distance, it was Reno and Wang Yile.

After circling in the air, the flying car crashed through the glass outside the reception station and flew towards Nava's location.

Seeing Reno coming, Nava waved at the distance. She didn't notice that the young bodyguard behind her was slowly standing up.

"Reno!" she shouted.

"Watch out behind you!" Reno yelled.

Nava immediately turned the gun, but as she turned, she felt a heavy blow to the back of her head.

The young bodyguard grabbed her.

Reno and Wang Yile had just got out of the car, seeing this they ran over together, with the bodyguard pointing the gun at Nava's head: "Don't come any closer, or I'll kill her!"

Both of them stopped in their tracks.

Blakem briskly stepped forward and snatched the gun from Nava's hand, aiming it at Reno. "Looks like the roles have reversed now. It's my turn to ask the questions. Raise your hands and step aside!"

Reno and Wang Yile took a few steps back and raised their hands together.

"It seems you have a good bodyguard, Mr. Lyle," Reno said.

Bert Lyle replied, "Burn is someone I paid a hefty price for, but unfortunately, even so, he couldn't protect my daughter and caused me such trouble."

"You're wrong, Mr. Lyle. The trouble wasn't caused by him, but by you. If it wasn't for the shady things you did, we wouldn't have had this trouble in the first place. You know, the bad things you did couldn't be solved by just one bodyguard," Reno shook his head.

The bodyguard Burn glanced at Reno gratefully.

"Shut up!" Blakem said. "It seems you already know about the gun. Now, tell me, what's your purpose?"

Wang Yile said impatiently, "You told us to shut up and then you want us to speak. It's a bit difficult."

"I told you to answer the question!" Blakem yelled, pointing the gun at Wang Yile.

"Hey, hey, no need to get nervous. We just want to make a deal with you," Reno quickly said.

"A deal?" Blakem was puzzled.

"That's right. We want to buy some starship parts, and also engines. Do you have any?" Reno asked.

"Of course. What model do you need?" Blakem asked, looking relieved.

"The standard engines for interstellar motherships, preferably the Overlord class, but if not, the Diamond class will do," Reno replied.

"We don't have the Overlord class, but we do have some inventory of the Diamond class, although they're not cheap. Each one costs 250 million," Blakem said.

"Four of them would be a billion?" Reno asked.

"Exactly," Blakem's expression visibly relaxed. "If you're just here to do business, I think we can have a good talk and there's no need for violence."

Now he knew he had to talk nicely.

Reno replied, "The problem is we only have three billion, and we need to buy other components too."

Blakem's face changed. "That price is unacceptable."

Reno sighed, "That's why we had to resort to force... I was just asking if you had them. It would have been easy."

Blakem hesitated, feeling something was wrong instinctively, and raised his gun to shoot.

Reno waved his hand, and the gun in Burn's hand flew up and hit Blakem's wrist. Blakem raised his hand, missing the shot. Reno waved his hand again, and the gun disappeared without a trace.

At the same time, Nava elbowed behind her, hitting Burn in the abdomen, causing him to bend over.

As Reno raised his hand to catch Burn's gun, he saw Burn's hand reaching for his gun. Reno aimed the gun, not intending to kill Lyle, just to stop him from shooting.

But at that moment, Burn suddenly shouted, "No!"

He rushed over and pushed Lyle away, taking the bullet intended for Lyle.

Reno froze.

The young bodyguard lay in a pool of blood, looking at Lyle.

He said with difficulty, "I... did my duty, sir."

Bert Lyle looked at Burn in horror, backing away repeatedly.

"Take them all away!" Reno said.

Nava had already grabbed Blakem and Lyle, ushering them into the car.

"What about him, boss?" Wang Yile asked, looking at the bodyguard on the ground.

After a moment's thought, Reno replied, "He's a good one. Take him too."

"Okay, boss," Wang Yile went over and picked up the bodyguard.
