Chang Yunxi had already managed to pull herself up one step away from her, her eyes frantically searching for a way to climb back up. Hearing Wen Haoxue's sobbing, she furrowed her brows and scolded, "Don't cry!"
"Can't I even cry a little?" Wen Haoxue glared at her.
"Crying will exhaust all your strength. How are you going to climb up later?" Chang Yunxi said, "Do you want to live or not?"
Wen Haoxue suddenly stopped crying and looked at her with furrowed brows, unable to precisely identify the feeling on her face. She always thought this woman was strange. She didn't seem impassive, yet it was rare for someone to remain so calm in such a situation, making it feel as though she had been through similar struggles before.
"Old Wang is gone, right?" Looking up and seeing no one above, Wen Haoxue felt like crying again, "How nice for him. Seeing us in trouble, he just scurries away all by himself."
