Jiang Yan paced back and forth in the corridor, unable to stand still. Upon hearing that Manman had given birth, Mo Wenyang immediately rushed over to keep him company. However, Jiang Yan's demeanor was far from calm; Mo Wenyang was scared several times that he might carelessly jump out of a window. This was how Jiang Yan felt, as if he couldn't control himself. He wanted to stay calm, to be rational, but he couldn't; he just couldn't sit down.
"Brother-in-law," Lu Huan took a cab, made a detour and met up with Yao Zibao before coming over.
As it snowed and caused traffic on the way, they hurried over and had to run part of the way from the cab. Arriving exhausted, they both leaned on their knees for breath, covered in snow.
"How is it? I heard sister has given birth," Lu Huan said.
"If you want to see Xixi, she's in the neonatal room," Mo Wenyang responded for the agitated Jiang Yan, who by then was beyond words.
