"Boom!"
Everyone incredulously looked up at the sky, as no one had expected Luo Yu to be so unbelievably powerful.
He had managed to shatter three Divine Artifacts.
The Yata no Kagami broke apart, the Eight-Foot Qiong Hook cracked open, and even the Sword of Kusanagi crumbled into countless pieces.
The Snake Man's indestructible body, too, had been battered to the point of being riddled with holes.
In the end, he was beheaded by a single swing of Luo Yu's sword.
This stunning strike left everyone in awe—aside from being incredibly handsome, it was absolute power.
Even though Luo Yu had not shown his true face, his terrifying strength alone had conquered all those present.
Whether man or woman, everyone watched the scene in disbelief, unable to accept that a freshman who had just enrolled in Martial University this year could do something like this. It was monstrously powerful, unreasonably so.
"Boom boom."
Above the sky, Luo Yu radiated an overwhelming momentum, his body shimmering with Divine Power, incredibly intimidating.
And the Snake Man, so arrogantly powerful to the extreme, was now in two pieces, but still not dead.
The two halves, as if magnetically attracted to each other, desperately tried to pull together in an attempt to heal.
But Luo Yu would not allow it to happen; with several more slashes, he mutilated the Snake Man.
He was chopped into countless pieces.
Luo Yu sneered, "Let's see if you die now."
The injured teachers on the ground, the former student Martial Artists, and the other students, were all so shocked they couldn't find the words to speak.
Cheng Jinjin's lips trembled, her face filled with excitement.
"So shocking!"
"Is the boss even human? He's like a living god, so terrifying."
Shi Kai, with disbelief written all over his face, mumbled in a voice only he could hear:
"Too strong, with this might, he could easily crush me to death. Is this the rate at which the power of God's Child improves?"
He still remembered the first time he met Luo Yu; it was when Luo Yu had just awakened the Ancient Spirits.
Not even a year had passed since then.
It was too ridiculous!
Less than a year's time, to grow from powerless to effortlessly slaying a First Rank Summit like killing a dog?
Shi Kai suspected he was dreaming, but when he thought about those foreign God's Children who also advanced rapidly, it wasn't so strange anymore.
Like this Snake Man, one could tell he had been blessed by external gods with Divine Power; otherwise, he wouldn't be such a freak, nearly immortal no matter how you fought him.
"You guys, look, that guy's not dead yet!"
A female student's shrill cry came, her Beautiful Eyes wide, pointing at the sky, her eyes filled with fear.
Everyone's gaze followed in unison and saw that the thousands of pieces of flesh were still writhing ceaselessly.
Eerily so.
"Buzz!"
Powerful silver light erupted, and those fragments of flesh actually began to reform into the Snake Man's shape.
He looked at Luo Yu, who was frowning, and said with a sneer, "Kid, you can't kill me. There's no longer a sword in this world that can slay me."
"Only a god can kill me!"
"Compared to the Divine Power's origin granted by Amaterasu, the three Divine Artifacts are nothing."
Luo Yu sneered, showing no hint of fear.
Compared to the eerie "Ink," this little ability of the Snake Man was nothing in his eyes.
"Divine Power's origin?"
"A fine thing indeed."
The smile that appeared on Luo Yu's face made the Snake Man inexplicably feel a chill down his spine, as if he was the prey about to be devoured.
He quickly shook his head, dismissing the thought. There was no way he could die. Today, he would exact his revenge and erase the humiliation of the past.
"Die for me!"
The Snake Man spewed a sky-covering green fog from his mouth, hiding countless poisons within.
Using the fog to obscure his movements, he darted around inside and attacked Luo Yu from cunning angles.
"Not bad for a Bullet Small Country, but those are just some petty tricks that don't show up at the big stage," Luo Yu remarked.
His God's Eye had already seen through everything; there was nowhere the opponent could hide.
He went to meet the attack with his sword, ignoring the poison entering his body.
"If I can kill you once, I can slay you a second time!"
"I don't believe it!"
No sooner had the Snake Man spoken than Luo Yu, who had flashed in close, pierced his chest with a sword, unleashing a myriad of sword lights within.
His entire body was ripped open from the inside by the sword light, leaving countless gaping holes, turning him into a sieve.
"Sss sss sss—"
With the swords' energy crisscrossing, the Snake Man's body exploded, bursting into a firework display in the sky.
But surprisingly, no blood flowed out from within the Snake Man, revealing only clusters of wriggling tiny flesh.
A sinister voice emanated from within.
"The origin of the gods is a force from another dimension, not on the same plane as mortals. No matter how mighty you are, you can't destroy it."
"I just didn't want to expose some things under the sunlight, but you are so eager to die, I might as well oblige."
The Snake Man's body was once again intact, even bursting with a formidable aura that changed the expressions of the countless teachers and students below, who dared not look directly at the frighteningly dazzling figure of the Snake Man above them.
It let out a sardonic laugh, "Playing tricks!"
"Oh?"
Luo Yu raised an eyebrow as all the Ancient Spirits he had collected were now put away, and the Dantian Greenery vibrated.
A special golden light began to emerge from the surface of his body.
"Then you'd better watch closely."
"Boom boom!!!"
Everyone sensed it—Luo Yu was emanating a special kind of momentum. It wasn't the kind to shatter heavens and obliterate the earth, nor was it overwhelmingly oppressive, but it gave them an indescribable feeling.
The Snake Man's expression turned to shock as each cell soaked by the Divine Power's origin trembled in terror.
"What is this power?"
"Why is my body shaking!!!"
"Shaking?"
"I haven't even made my move, and you're already cowering?"
Luo Yu laughed heartily, surprised that his opponent was so weak, nowhere near the threat level of that "Ink."
