Chapter 76: The Nightstand

The kiss was hot, hard, and insistent, an unexpected crash of waves that neither Sienna nor Doug could fight. Sienna opened her mouth, surrendering to the flood of sensations as Doug's tongue swept through her, exploring every corner, every taste. His teeth nipped at her lower lip, igniting sparks that raced through her body, coalescing into a fierce ache between her thighs. Her nipples, hard as stones, pressed against the thin fabric of her shirt, begging for release.

Doug broke the kiss just as abruptly as he started it, his breath coming in short, heavy bursts. "God, Sienna," he murmured, his voice a raw blend of need and restraint.

She knew in some rational part of her mind that she ought to object since, regardless of what transpired, everything would change and they would never again be Sienna and Dough.
