Chapter 13: The Battle between Predator and Prey: Hirihito Yūma's Extreme Prowess.

"Matsuda you must understand that this may serve as your last battle. So don't hold back, show me what you can do. Matsuda Sakamoto!" Hirihito yelled.

"I never intended to." Matsuda replied.

"Good, now don't make me regret my decision of letting you stay in the association longer." Hirihito said.

"Hmm, his eyes... they're like fire... it's filled with determination, but... he won't last long." Hirihito thought, grinning.

"This guy... he's grinning, is he that confident he'll win so easily? Hmmph try again, even though I won't win, I'll give him a hard time." Matsuda thought.

Matsuda used spatial awareness in a way to try and predict his next move, but for some reason he can't. "What the... W- why can't I predict his moves... It's like he knows what I'm trying to do." Matsuda thought, trembling.

"You probably tried using your spatial awareness move to predict my moves. Well try again." Hirihito said.

"Alright then. I'll just have to defeat you in hard mode." Matsuda said, confident.

Matsuda unsheathed his sword to declare the start of the battle. Hirihito punches his palm and clenching it [clenched fist gesture] anf his hand suddenly ignites on fire showcasing his abilities.

Matsuda felt a bit on edge as he witnesses his hand igniting in action. Hirihito disappears for a split second only to appear in front of Matsuda. Matsuda witnessed his flaming fist making contact with his body in slow motion, slowly but surely he felt the fire, it was hot.

Matsusa was sent back into the hallway, "Oh man, it looks like you're about to give up. Are you willing to leave and give up or are you gonna keep going until you die?" Hirihito said.

Matsuda landed right next to the elevator, "Why give up now? It's only started." Matsuda said. By now Matsuda was coughing up a lot of blood, he could die from bloodloss from this fight.

He drew his sword again and charged towards him, "With the speed and agility of the wind, moves swiftly, I shall cut you 'Divine Wind Slash'" Matsuda's blade was glowing white, it was bright. Matsuda was right next to Hirihito and then he used the attack at a effective spot, the neck.

Hirihito was surprise, he didn't see it coming, but he was more experienced. He covered his neck with his arms to block it, sure enough Matsuda struck his arms. Suddenly Hirihito rose his foot and kick Matsuda directly at his face, he was sent flying back to the office.

The office was a mess already, debris everywhere and torn paperwork. Matsuda struggled to pick his sword up as he dropped it while flying. Right as he was picking it up Hirihito kicked him at his lower jaw using his knee, right as Matsuda was gonna fall onto the ground Hirihito reached out and picked him up by his shirt, "Listen here Matsuda, I'll give you the option to give up now and live, if you decline I might just kill you. You know what, I don't care, I'll make you give up by choice." Hirihito said, throwing him at the elevator.

Matsuda burst through the elevator doors, he struggled to stand up and was at the verge of quitting, but he pushed through adn stood up again. "Still standing eh? Let me change that, I'll give one last chance, give up or face the true force of the arcane." Hirihito warned him.

Matsuda looked like he wasn't willing to give up yet. "I guess you choose death." Hirihito prepared, he clasped his hand together and created flames between it, he started to form something with fire. Meanwhile Matsuda was still trying to stand up.

"Come on Matsuda, you can't give up now. It'll be meaningless if I do." He thought to himself.

Suzune and Saori were still watching as Miss Chevious left as she knew this would've been the end of Matsuda. Suzune covered Saori's eyes because she feared Matsuda's fate would've been sealed.

"I know you still got this Matsuda, I believe in you, I know you won't give up too easily." Suzune thought.

Hirihito finished creating a fire arrow, "Now Matsuda. Last chance, give up!" Hirihito yelled.

Matsuda was shaking, "Like... Hell I would" Matsuda replied in a weak voice. He put up a stance preparing to take the hit. But right as he did it, he stumbled and fell into a kneeling position.

"Goodbye... Matsuda" Hirihito said.

"Flaming Arrow of Hell" he unleashed the technique.

The surrounding lights exploded due to the intense heat, it was dark and they could only see the flame. Right as the arrow approached Matsuda he tried to block it but failed and was torched. As the flames hit the wind rushed directly towards Hirihito and the curtains flopped around to shed some light.

They could finally see a lot, Suzune started to tear up as she saw a massive flame where Matsuda stood. "Hmph, you had it coming Matsuda, well I must say out of all the people I fought, you are the weakest." Hirihito taunted Matsuda even after the battle ended.

"You didn't even put up a good fight, I expected more from you. Well I guess I win this battle, now rot in hell." Hirihito Yūma said, in a chilling tone.

"I thought he'd put up a good fight at least. This guy is different from the one I saw that day, he seemed like he was holding back." Hirihito thought.

His mind suddenly shifts to that one time on that meeting place where they first encountered each other. He smiled a bit and walked towards his messy roasted office.

"Even so, I respect your bravery Matsuda, not a lot of people have the guts to walk up and challenge me." He thought.

As Hirihito walked back to his office he felt a cold chill, it was like he had been stabbed from the back. For the first time in a while he looked frightened.

He glanced back at the flames to notice a silhouette in the smoke, the figure stood firm. It was staring right at Hirihito.

"It's not over yet..."
