Aragon hills

In no time I reached home, "hello Daisy, how did you do today?" I asked. "I was alright, how was your journey? She asked. It was fine, I'm looking forward to tomorrow".

I then went to the backyard for some little conditioning. I didn't train at all yesterday and my body was itching. After a grueling three hours of work out, I hit the showers.

"Daisy give me your link code" I said upon entering the room. I wanted to link Daisy to my new device. "Here it is" she said as a code was projected in front of me. After that I linked Daisy with the device.

"Hello Daisy" I said this time to the watch on my hand. "Yes Adam" the voice came from my watch. 'I guess it worked' I thought but then another thought came to my mind, Daisy doesn't seem to refer to me as I saw other AI's referring to their masters or owners.

"Hey Daisy, why don't you refer to me with any honorifics like master or sir? I asked curiously. It was silent for a moment before her emotionless voice echoed "You told me not to, do you perhaps not remember?".

'I told her not to? when?' I thought, even if I did I don't remember. "Sorry I don't remember" I replied. "Would you then like me to refer to you with honorifics? She asked.

"Not really, just asking" I shrugged but on a second thought "You know what?, Just refer to me as you always do if we're alone but otherwise refer to me as sir" I said after contemplating a bit.

"Noted" she said and went silent.

"Now to get something to eat" I muttered as I headed for the kitchen. Even though I could cook, it was pain in the ass that's why I decided that In my new house I'm gonna get bots to do the cooking. I figured making Daisy to control the bots would do.

After eating, I came back to the living area and ordered "Daisy, access the internet". "I'm sorry but there hasn't been a subscription for the past eight years" she answered.

"How did I not know that?" I asked. "You never asked" she replied. I wanted to protest but I was the one who never asked in the last two years since I came back from the orphanage. At first the internet never bothered me and when I started hearing about eclipse, I was too busy training to care about that. But then again even if I did, with how poor I was I likely couldn't afford the subscription.

"How much is the subscription currently?" I asked.

"I do not know that, it's been eight years, according to my estimates the price would surely have risen" she explained.

So I looked it up on my new device, "hmm, so it's fifteen thousand per month" I mused.

"Daisy pay the fees" I said. I'll check it tomorrow.

Time flew like a morning breeze, and it was already the next day. On a table before me, there were numerous grey stones releasing a faint blue light from the cracks around them. Yeah, they were nexus stones, I spent a few hours looking for stones to warp. Turns out in a city where bots always do their jobs well, finding a stray stone on the road is hard. After all the warping of nearly thirty stones, I was barely left with five percent of my energy.

I was very tired but I still went out and towards the Green Foundation. Walking into the Green Foundation, "miss green, please notify Marcus that I've arrived" I said to the holographic manifestation of the resident AI.

A few minutes later, the enigmatic short man arrived. "You're here early" he said sarcastically seeing as it was already 12 pm and we were to meet since 9 am.

"I was a little preoccupied with something" I said. I was busy making nexus stones but he didn't need to know that.

"If you're ready then let's go" he said and I followed. "We're taking a portal to Aragon hills" he said as we were on our way to the garage.

After we left the company, we went straight to a portal station, bought a ticket and waited for our turn. Soon enough we found ourselves in another portal station. When we came out, I could see multiple mountains covered in greenery from where we stood.

He was right, this was a mountain chain. "Magnificent huh? he asked. "Yeah, I have a question though, which sector and district are we in?" I asked.

"Aragon hills is sector 5, district 7, it alone is the entire district 7" he explained. I was baffled though, I never knew a place could be an entire district. That was because a district is big enough that it comprises of several cities.

Anyway, I followed him to the said land he talked about. "I asked for a place with a waterfall not a cliff" I said as I took in the view of the land, it was a cliff on the side of one of the most remote mountains in the chain. With a cave like hole where water flowed out from and into a massive pool connected to other mountains.

"What are you talking about? Is that not the waterfall" he said pointing to the flowing water. Well he is right but that wasn't exactly what I was looking for. But even though seeing this now, I got an idea.

. "I'm telling you it has everything....

"How much is it?" I asked interrupting his rant.

"You should consider..... Wait did you just agree to buy it!?" He started speaking before asking as realization dawned on him.

"Yes" I answered.

"Hahaha,good then let's get to business" he laughed boisterously. "I even heard him mutter "great I'll get a lot of commission from this".

After some time tapping on his tablet, he turned the screen towards me and said "Here it is, it's cost is 25 nexus stones" may be afraid that'll bargain.

But I had no intention of haggling. "Fine where am I paying?" I asked. "Great" he said heaving a sigh of relief. "We have to go back to the foundation and finalize the deal".
