Okay, lets be honest here for a moment. Kuroko Shirai was having a bit of a rough day. Actually, you know what, scratch that last statement, she was actually having a very very horrible day.
And this was further compounded by the fact, that she was currently in a real world of hurt. Or, so it seemed. As she was currently battling against a boss that was the head of a group of thugs. Who was for some reason, went by the name of Trick.
"Hello there viewers...Keiko here...so, I suppose you are all wondering why this particular chapter is in the current format that it is in right? Well viewers, that is because of the voice actor...or Seiyuu...for those who would like to know the Japanese translation...is one Vic Mignogna...and as for those who don't know who he is...I will just say, that if you know...you know...But anyway viewers...that is why this particular chapter, won't have any dialogue in it...But the good news with that, is that this will more then likely be the only time that this is done...But anyway viewers, let us now get back to the chapter at hand, shall we?"
Anyway, Trick had been attempting to con a boy into a situation regarding the Level Upper. And unfortunately, he was unable to run away, so Kuroko decided to confront them. Coincidentally, Kuruko had arrived before Saten wound up getting hurt in the situation. And she managed to subdue two of the thugs. But she wound up having a bit of trouble using her teleportation ability against Trick. Since Trick had a light-distortion ability, which wound up heavily affecting her calculations. Since he was able to basically play mind games on her in a sense, that would wind up making it so that Kuroko couldn't use her pin darts on him. And as we all would find out in later events, you can't use your Esper abilities, if you can't think straight or have a clear head to concentrate. But, I am getting a bit ahead of myself again, let's go back to how this all started, shall we?
Okay, so despite me and Misaka meeting her before this. Mind you, it was under slightly different circumstances. What with her not having a lab coat on, Dr. Kiyama still scared me slightly.
"Hello there again viewers...Keiko here...and just for the record, the only reason that she scares me, is because I don't know anything about her at the current moment...But rest assured viewers...as that is going to wind up changing, in a future upcoming chapter...now then viewers...I will just let you get back to reading this current chapter."
And this was due to the fact, that she just seemed to have this sort of strange look about her. But, little did me and Misaka know, was that my fears about her, would later be confirmed, in a future encounter. But, this would not be confirmed until a little bit later on.
And well, here we are, almost all caught up again. And to tell you the truth, I don't think Kuroko Shirai felt any less fearful about fighting against Trick. This was due to the fact, that during their fight, his light-distortion ability, kept getting in the way of Kuroko being able to use her teleportation ability effectively. This was further compounded by the fact that when they went through an abandoned building, while Trick was chasing Kuroko through it, as Kuroko was still having trouble with her ability, she thankfully managed to use her teleportation ability to teleport the building's windows directly into the abandoned building's supports, cutting right through them and causing the abandoned building to collapse, right on top of Trick. However, having barely survived, Trick surrendered his Level Upper to Kuroko, which was revealed to be a music file.
Meanwhile, in another part of Academy City, Saten was feeling even more conflicted about what to do with the Level Upper that she had found on her music player two days ago. It was at that point that she was approached by some of her classmates and who told Saten that they were also interested in the Level Upper, to which Saten then decided to share it with them. Man, thing really do have a way in casually working their way down to total disaster, don't they? Well, I guess we will just have to see how things play out, won't we? Here's to hoping things work out well in the end. And hopefully, neither me or Misaka wind up dead on the other side of this in the process.
"And hopefully that will wind up being the case viewers...Oh right, my apologies...Keiko here...and as for the upcoming future chapters that were mentioned earlier in this chapter?...Well...though I won't be going into too much detail about it at the current moment viewers...Let's just say, that the original timeline, that you thought that you knew, about A Certain Scientific Railgun...is almost completely invalid...So, what I mean by this viewers...is that the upcoming future chapter, of this particular fanfic, are going to have you guessing what is going to happen next, pretty much right up until the end...But for now viewers...this now marks the end of this current chapter...I know viewers, I know...This is not the most ideal spot to end this chapter...But let me ask you this viewers...would you prefer it if I told a multiple number of episodes in one chapter?...No, of course you wouldn't...So viewers...it is only natural, that I end the chapter here...But you need not worry viewers...as we will be getting right back into the action, in the next chapter....And, do you remember earlier on in this chapter...when I mentioned Dr. Kiyama?...Well, in the next chapter...Actually, why don't I just have you go and read it...And so viewers...with this in mind, see you lot there...okay?...*I proceed to say this, while smiling with both of my eyes closed, and my head, tilted to one side, in a very cute looking manner*"
