Chapter 1:Joining the game

(AN: please point out any mistakes and I'll try fix them at some point.)

Grey had just woken up, hearing the sound of his mom's yelling from down stairs he gets up, tirednes evident in his eyes.

*Yawn*

He looks around regaining his wits slowly before throwing himself out of his bed in a attempt to stop any possibility of him falling back into his slumber.

*bang*

"I'll be down in a minute mom!'

After his exclamation Grey gets off the floor and throws on his school uniform which was luckily simple, only containing a white dress shirt, a tie and some black trousers other than his regular required clothes (socks and such). He then hurriedly puts on his trainers and scampered down the stairs entering the kitchen and sitting down at the table giving his mom a wide grin before scarfing down his breakfast and hurriedly running out the door while waving his mom goodbye but quickly returns and grabs his backpack and waves while leaving again.

"Bye mom!"

His mom sighed seeing how hyper he was today but chuckled and waved her son goodbye.

"Bye sweetie!"

As Grey was on his way to school he passed a poster which read in bold writing.

'Bloodline,

The new full dive technology's most recent game released, NOW WITH FULL BODY CONTROL!'

... and ran straight past it too busy trying to get to school to read the poster.

After arriving at school he swiftly blew through the day and started to run home after school but after stopping to catch his breath holding his knees in a comical fashion, he happened to glance to his side seeing the poster he had neglected reading at the beginning of his day he huffed out a laboured breath from his running and decided it may be worth reading.

Standing straight after a minute of catching his breath he walked closer to read the poster.

"{Bloodline} huh? Interesting concept, being able to fully control your body in the game that is, since most of the full dive games restrict your body so you can't do unintended actions.... I may as well buy it considering I have a lot of pocket money saved up."

He walked into the store and came back out a few minutes later now holding a box with the word {Bloodline} on the front written in sharp red writing then Grey proceeded on his way home now walking instead of running, wondering how he hadn't heard of the game before now when it should be big news if a game allowed this type of control, in the end he shrugged it off due to arriving home and just decided to enter the game instead of doing his neglected homework.

His mom was still at work so he just layed down in his full dive pod without a worry and pressed the only button on the inside of the machine that started the full dive.

"Here we go..."

He had muttered as he slowly fell into the world of {Bloodline} having installed the game through the one time code in the box.

As he opened his eyes he found himself floating in what looked like the sky with no ground visible when he looked down, in front of him he heard a voice bringing him out of his thoughts.

"Young adventure, welcome to the world of {Bloodline} please choose your class and based on your actions while choosing the class and your thought process you will be assigned a B- level or higher talent due to being one of the first ten thousand adventurers summoned to the land of {Bloodline}, the ranks are as follows, F-level,E-level,D-level,B-level, X-level,A-level,S-level,Y-level,Hero-level, and God-level."

grey got a little excited at this imagining all the strong talents he had the chance of getting, slightly wondering how the talents worked and such but not giving it much thought more completely forgetting to look at who said this.

"Let's see what classes I can pick i suppose."

He slowly read the classes thinking carefully about each one wondering what could do the most damage.

'Warrior (normal)? What does the normal in brackets mean? Rarity of class or something? Oh! Maybe there are hidden classes..."

"Mage (normal).... classic I suppose but I want a melee class."

"Archer/Hunter (normal)... I just said I want a melee class."

"And the others are Monk (normal), Blacksmith (normal), Healer (normal), and Berserk Wildcard (fate born)- wait what does that mean? And why Is it my only non normal class? I guess I should see if I can find more info... uh... Berserk Wildcard info please?..."

After a minute of silence Grey glances at the place he had previously heard someone confused why they hadn't said anything since it was clear no info panel was opening up to tell him he assumed the game designers would have whoever this person was tell the players the class functions but when he finally saw the person he saw a woman seemingly made of fire who was reading a book and then she glanced up seeing him looking at her.

"Oh... cool I heard Berserk Wildcard so I guess thats your class choice or whatever.... bye."

Suddenly Grey disappeared not even being able to ask any questions before he appeared in the middle of a medieval city with a information panel in his face that was purple with red writing.
