I just kept looking at Lacy's soft purple eyes. I felt the warmness and vulnerability fromhar smile. I was in a weird daze. " Um..are you ok-um Eric,right? ", Lacy asked. As I let go of the bar I confided with Lacy.

" Sorry, its um my first time at a gym in a while! ", I shriekeshly muttered. Lacy looked at my stomach and back at me. " Yeah I can tell! ", She laughed. " Just messing with you! ". I started to blush out of embarrassment. " I mean, you don't seem to be breaking a sweat,Lacy! ", I joked back to her.

" That's cause I barely just started. ", Lacy explained while crossing her arms. " I've only done 185 reps so far ". I looked at astonishment and wonder. My eyes we're practically looney tunes star eyes. Lacy pulled me up out the bench and started to drag me somehwere.

" C'mon don't worry, Eric! " Lacy assured " I'll mentor you and help you! ". I was confused and curious of why she would take me under her wing. After all I've got no build. Lacy only does sleeper builds and I've not one of them.

" Why me? ", I asked Lacy. " I'm not even a little muscular at all. I'm built like Porky the pig. ". Lacy giggled a bit but responded. " It's cause, I see a lot of potential in you! ".

I looked at her confused again. " What potential? ". She thrusted her brown hair back as she explained to me. " I just got a wierd aura from you when I saw you on that bench press! ".

Lacy got me started with some simple cardio." Here these are the bicycle machines! ", Lacy said to me. " You twist this knob and it increases the intensity, twist it the otjer way around, it makes it less intense. ".

I got started and was doing pretty good for the first 10 minutes. But by the 20 monute mark, my cabs were begging me mercy but I pushed them, again and again. When I glanced at Lacy. Lacy was bearly breaking a sweat. I could only see one visible sweat drop and her intensity was higher than mine.

" Hey if you want we could take a break. ", Lacy assured to me. I was dying and my lungs were begging for oxygen. But I was persistent to keep going. " Nah, I'd pettle! ", I told her.

Lacy gave me a sweet smile and we continued for another 20 minutes. Yeah, sure by the end of it, I wanted to die and be baired in the desp blue sea, But I felt that with the help and encouragement of Lacy. I was able to push past Eric's natural limits.

" You did excellent, Eric! ", Lacy told me with sencerity. " Next time lets aim higher, 60 minutes! "

I practically fainted on the ground from that goal. " C'mon let's get to some weightlifting-

Lacy bumped into a jacked,muscular,beefed up bodybuilder. The bodybuilder was like 8 times her size. " Oh, it's you Lacky! ", The man said. " What are you doing messing up my workout. ", he asked. Lacy seemed so scared and gulped before speaking.

" Fabio I'm sorry! ", Lacy said with fear. " I was just trying to help my frie-

" I don't give a ahit about your friend! ", Fabio yelled at Lacy's face. " Y'know this is my workout spot! " the bodybuilder started to get angrier and angrier. Lacy faced towards me with her head down in shame.

" C'mon Eric, lets go ", Lacy mumbled . " He doesn't want us here. ". As me and Lacy sat down on a bench, I could still see that Lacy was sad. I wanted to held her, But I don't know what to say. " I'm sorry that I got you tangled up in Fabio's tyrannical workout. ", Lacy apologized

" Tyrannical? ", I asked her. Lacy looked at me with failure eyes. " Fabio is the biggest guy in the gym. Heck, he's even sponsered by them. " Lacy explained.

" I'm sorry that you have to deal with that guy", I comforted her. " The gym should make you their sponsor! ". Lacy gave me a smile that I've never seen from her before. A more peacful and honest smile.

An open smile.

I stood up with confidence. " Let's stick it to that guy" I confides to Lacy. Lacy seemed shcoked and her eyes were wide open.

" You really thibk we could talk with him? ", Lacy asked me. I shook my head. " No, we have to beat him at his exercises! ". Lacy seemed even more shocked.

" We can't do that! ", Lacy said. " He's a perfect! ". I nodded my head again. " We just need to fend which muscle he is the weakest at "

Lacy seemed to be gald and determined to fet back at Fabio.

We will not let Fabio win..
