 Nehar looked at ringing notifications.

Although he was quite familiar with this setting, he thought of seeing the skill to kill time.

As he focused on the details of his newly obtained Skill, another window popped up in front of his eyes.

Nehar shook his head lightly. Nothing had changed from the past.

He looked behind them and saw both women were also staring in front of them, which meant they were still checking their new skills.

One minute was already over when the notification about the new skill popped up; they were still walking towards their destination at that time.

Another System Notification popped up, this time with a louder ringing tone, signifying that their leisure time had ended.

 -------*****-------

Nehar snickered when he saw the same Tutorial Description in front of him.

Though the System wanted to maintain a certain balance, the same couldn't be said for the Lackeys and the Handlers.

To make each Tutorial Phase much more famous than before and most importantly to catch the observing eyes of the various powers, they always add something that would create a large commotion in the Tutorials.

However, these types of dealings are not disregarded by the System.

It also supports them from the back, to find the person who would be the best among several thousand or hundreds of thousands.

The Safe Zones will disappear once the remaining time ends and the Horde will start attacking, but it was never mentioned in the Rules that during each break after a wave, the Capacity of the Safe Zones will decrease.

No matter how many will survive, they would've to fight between themselves to hold their ground and obtain a place in the Safe Zones.

And here comes the flaw of the Second Rule.

The System rewards the Participants with Tutorial Points (TP) for killing their enemies.

Again, it was never mentioned that their only enemies were beasts or hordes.

Participants can also kill each other to obtain Tutorial Points.

As for the use of the TPs, which is still not mentioned, Nehar was not that much worried about them.

He already knew how to use them and where to use them to gain more than others.

Nehar looked at the people around them as they had already reached the Cross-Road area.

He noticed both women following him were giving him looks.

 "What happened?" he asked.

"Do we have to kill zombies? It says the First Tutorial will be a Zombie Horde", Amelia asked him.

"Hmm, we have to kill zombies in the First Tutorial to survive. Although you can also choose not to kill them and try to escape to survive their pursuits, I don't think that will be easy. And it's not a wise move if you truly want to live."

Amelia understood the meaning behind the words.

There will be 3 waves in a single day, which means if they want to run they have to run endlessly to escape them.

Moreover, it's only the First Tutorial.

Only God knows how many more phases will be there after this one.

While Amelia nodded her head, Grace asked him, "But we didn't kill anything in our whole life. Do you think we will be able to do that just because we received a Class and some power from the System?"

Nehar looked at her face while answering her.

"The same goes for me and everyone present here. Other than some gangsters from the slums, I don't think anyone here has any idea about killing an enemy. But if you want to live, if you want to survive and see tomorrow's Sun, then you have to kill. It's either you or them. The System also wants you to fight; otherwise, it would've provided some lifestyle classes like Alchemist, Blacksmith, Builder, etc."

Grace nodded her head in understanding.

If she does not want to kill, she will be killed.

The world order has collapsed, and now it will be the rule of the Strong.

Who holds the bigger stick, will maintain the peace.

Amelia commented, "Let's add each other as friends first. I want to know how this function works."

Both Nehar and Grace nodded their heads in affirmation while pulling up their System Interfaces.

[System Alert: You have added Artemis (Amelia Reinhardt) and Hecate (Grace Reinhardt) as your friends.]

[System: Your Status Window has been updated.]

 [Friends (02): Artemis, Hecate.]

Nehar was bewildered when he saw their Names.

 "You two…." He was speechless.

"Hehe, what happened?" Amelia asked him.

Both women were laughing silently while looking at his bewildered facial expression.

"Nothing. Your names are quite interesting."

"You are the one to talk. Who started it?" Amelia rebuked him.

Nehar looked at his name and sighed. He only did it to get a new start in this life and these women thought he was naming himself as a Mythological character of some sort.

"Fine, just keep the dignity of your names."

"We will surely do that", Grace answered him, giggling softly.

Nehar sighed once again watching their playful expressions.

Since when did they become like this?

"Whatever. Now we've added each other as friends, we can contact through the System messages."

Amelia asked him, "How does it actually work? Like those Mobile Towers?"

Nehar shook his head in disapproval.

"No, it doesn't work like that. Remember one thing, this new world would not be based upon the Engineering marvels, rather it would depend upon mana and Magic for its progression. The System helps the Participants to send messages by encoding texts into mana. At most, it will take 1 or 2 mana points to send a message. As long as you have sufficient mana, you can send messages to others. And it does not have a range like mobiles and takes help from the System while sending messages. So, you don't have to worry if your messages were actually transferred or not."

Both women nodded their heads in understanding.

Some people around also heard his explanation and the features of the new features.

They also started adding each other as friends to band up as a team to survive.

Nehar checked the Tutorial Panel once more.

[System: (Time left before the start of The 1st Wave): 00:06:47]

There are still six minutes left.

Should I teach them some pointers about their basic Class skills?

 Nehar thought to himself.

He thought about taking action, and then he saw two figures coming towards them.

And he even knew one of them.

His uncle and a middle-aged bald man reached their group and asked without any restraint, "You two, come and join us. We have already created a large group to secure our safety for the coming battle. In that way, you will be much safer. However, he is not welcomed", the bald man pointed his finger towards Nehar upon finishing.

Nehar saw his uncle remained silent, while the bald man stated his terms flatly.

He even pointed his fingers towards him to declare that he was not welcome.

 Nehar shook his head.

 A bunch of chicken bastards.

Amelia and Grace took notice of the palpable tension in the air.

They looked at each other, then they looked at Nehar, and at last, they looked at their last relative standing behind the bald man silently.

"We have already formed a team with him. So, we are not going to join anyone else", Amelia said.

She understood very well the hidden thoughts of this bald bastard in front of her.

He was continuously eyeing them while speaking and he is still doing it now.

 Being safer with them?

 Fat chance.

The bald man stated his terms once more without any care in the world, "It doesn't matter. Leave his team or whatever and join us. Your father has already joined our team, can you not see that?"

Nehar looked at the self-proclaimed bastard thoughtfully and asked, "Why are you trying to force them?"

Before the bald man could speak, his uncle shouted from behind, "You better stay out of this matter. They are my wife and daughter and I'll decide what's best for them. You are not related to us. Your parents are dead and I've no relation with you from this point forth."

Nehar stared at him coldly, "It seems that you are trying to cross the line again. Do you think after being a member of the Wolf's Fang, you will remain safe?"

Nehar had already taken notice of the Wolf tattoo on the bald man's forearm.

It was the identity of the notorious gang of the slum, Wolf's Fang.

He couldn't believe that his uncle went to them for help.

Well, birds of a feather flock together after all.

The bald man noticed him and approached him.

 He was dissatisfied with Nehar.

Two stunning young women were following him while he had no one to look for him.

 How absurd was this!

At first, he didn't care about the man who came looking for help, but when he saw those two women, he had a profound desire to take them for himself.

He could easily kill the man who came to their gang, and no one would object.

After all, it wasn't the first time they snatched someone's wife or daughter away from them to enjoy.

He snickered in his mind while placing his hand firmly on the young man's shoulder.

After I teach you how the world works, I will take those two women for myself.

And as for that man, I'll let him watch when I take care of his wife and daughter.

That idiot didn't even know he came to the wolves to protect his chickens.

When he was still basking in his future, he heard a cold voice coming to his ears, "If you don't move your hand within 3 seconds, you are going to die."

The bald man snapped back into reality and saw two cold, emotionless eyes staring at him.

He wanted to beat this bastard to show his place, "You bastard, how dare you…" But he couldn't finish his sentence as he suddenly felt numbness in his chest.

Before he could even understand what happened, he saw a bluish dagger almost reaching his neck.

He hurriedly tried to step back, but he was a bit late.

 His movement staggered.

And a head flew over the surrounding people who were watching this scene with great interest.

---

The people who were watching could not process what happened.

All they could see was that the bald man suddenly staggered back with an arched back and then a bluish aura.

Then they saw a head was flying towards them.

Well, they were not the only ones.

That bald man couldn't understand how he died even in his death.

His face had a blank look as it flew over some people and ultimately dropped to the ground.

Horrible shrieks could be heard as some women saw a head dropped in front of them, looking at them with blank eyes, void of life.

Grace and Amelia were also visibly shaken.

They never thought of this outcome.

Now they understood one of his words that he told them to remember always.

'Remember, adding someone as a friend does not make that person your friend. If you trust someone without judging his/her character, you will die. The System can identify a person as your enemy even if you added him/her to your friend list. So, keep your guard up all the time.'

 They understood what he meant.

The System doesn't prohibit the Participants from killing each other.

It even encourages them to do it.

They looked at the bald man, who was missing his head and still standing there, in front of Nehar.

The headless body finally collapsed on the ground after two more seconds.

Nehar pointed his dagger forward toward the mass, "Anyone else?"

The people around him hurriedly stepped back from their positions. They had no intention of getting in the way of this madman who had just beheaded someone over a simple argument.

His uncle saw the whole scene and couldn't believe his eyes.

He thought he was safe after joining the Wolf's Fang.

Their group had over 85 members. No matter how skilled his nephew was, he couldn't beat all of them by himself. He was quite certain about that.

He wanted to trample on his pride; he wanted to take his wife and daughter back with him.

Though he knew that Fang's Leader didn't have anything good in his mind while helping him, he still needed him to silence Nehar and show him his place.

But what happened, he never expected it.

 He nervously gulped.

While he was thinking of running back to the group to gather support, a cold voice came into his ears.

"You have finally crossed the line this time."
