"Brother...Brother...brother..." The words echoed in Kairo's mind, piercing his head like a sharp knife. He tried to open his eyes, but they felt heavy, as if weights were pressing down on them. He finally managed to lift his eyelids, only to find himself lying on the stairs, his head throbbing in agony. He placed his hands on his head, trying to soothe the pain, but it only seemed to worsen. The voice whispered again, "Brother...please pat my head, brother..." Lia's voice sent chills down Kairo's spine.
Kairo struggled to stand up, but his legs felt like jelly, and he collapsed back onto the stairs. He was trapped in a never-ending nightmare. He looked up the stairs and saw Lia standing there, her eyes fixed on him with an otherworldly gaze. Kairo mustered all his strength and tried to stand again, but his body betrayed him, and he fell once more.
"Brother...please pat my head, brother..." The voice echoed in his mind, tormenting him. Kairo knew he had to break free from this curse, but how? He remembered the tragic event that had led to Lia's death, and the guilt consumed him. "I...I...am sorry," Kairo sobbed, "I am sorry for not saving you back then. If only I hadn't been afflicted with this disease, I would have saved you."
With newfound determination, Kairo forced himself to stand up and rushed towards Lia, embracing her tightly. "I am sorry, Lia. I am sorry for everything," he whispered, tears streaming down his face. But Lia vanished, leaving Kairo stunned and frightened. He stumbled backward, his head hitting the bottom of the stairs, and everything went black.
When Kairo came to, he found himself in a pool of blood, his head throbbing in agony. He touched his head, and his hand was covered in blood. He knew he was dying. He tried to call for help, but his voice was barely a whisper. He heard the doorbell ring, but it seemed distant, and he couldn't muster the strength to respond.
Meanwhile, Kento and Hina were having a conversation elsewhere. "Today was a good day, wasn't it?" Hina asked, and Kento agreed. They discussed Kairo, who had changed significantly over the past year. He used to be introverted and isolated, but now he seemed to be struggling with something deeper.
Hina suddenly remembered she had left her coat at Kairo's house and rushed back to retrieve it. As she approached the house, she heard Kairo's faint voice calling for help. She tried to open the door, but it was locked, and she couldn't kick it open. She ran back to Kento, grabbed his arm, and they rushed back to Kairo's house together.
"What's going on, Hina?" Kento asked, concern etched on his face.
"I don't know, but something's wrong. I heard Kairo's voice, and it sounded like he's in trouble," Hina replied, her voice trembling.
Kento kicked the door open, and they found Kairo lying in a pool of blood, his face covered in it. For a moment, they thought he was dead, but Kento checked his pulse and confirmed he was still alive. They were both in shock, unsure of what to do next.
"Hina, call an ambulance!" Kento shouted, as he tried to stem the bleeding from Kairo's head wound.
Hina quickly pulled out her phone and dialed the emergency number, her hands shaking as she tried to explain the situation to the operator.
As they waited for the ambulance to arrive, Kento and Hina exchanged worried glances. What had happened to Kairo? And why was he covered in blood?
The ambulance arrived, and the paramedics rushed Kairo to the hospital. Kento and Hina followed, their minds racing with questions and fears. What would they find out about Kairo's condition? And would he survive this ordeal?
The story continues, as Kairo's journey takes a new turn, and the mystery behind his condition begins to unravel...
